6 minutes to the National Treasure Inuyama Castle, with excellent access to the airport, Nagoya, Gifu, and Takayama, making it a great starting point for any adventure!

It is a very nice house. It is a bit noisy due to the nearly road and train tracks during the day, but it wasn’t too bad during the night. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay here, or get taxis to go into town, since the station is a good walk away. Once you get a car, accessing the mountains is a breeze and traffic is quite low. The host was amazing. She picked us up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station when we left. She also brought over some more bedding during our stay. I highly recommend this place, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper, you might not enjoy staying here. Overall it was in the right location to get a taxi into Inuyama to interact with the locals, and then drive around in the mountains.

We, my wife and I, rented the place for a month, so plenty of room for just the 2 of us. This reasonably spacious apartment was very clean and comfortable and an easy walk to train station, grocery and convenient stores. Also, well stocked with basic toiletries and kitchen and cleaning supplies. Quiet building and safe neighborhood too.
A traditional Japanese room features a tatami mat floor and large shoji screens that allow soft light to filter through. Minimalist decor includes a spacious area for futons and a low wooden shelf with a small plant, contributing to a serene environment.

5 star stay! The host is very friendly and allowed us to check out late. The kitchen is clean and has all the equipments we needed for making breakfast every morning. We enjoyed the stay so much and kids love the tatami setting. We were welcomed by snacks and drinks from the host and we love the dining area the most. It’s spacious and large enough to accommodate the 11 of us. Would recommend for families who travel with kids. The bathroom is clean and filled with amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser and plenty of towels! Extra bonus: the Airbnb has two free parking spaces right in front of the house. It’s fairly easy to navigate from Nagoya JR station too if you’re driving.
