Great host, great views and a clean unit. The only two things I didn’t like are the stairs that I found them slippery and the kitchen, which is small and have no air conditioning. Other than that great stay.

We had a great time at Thenu Villa! Everything was super clean and the hosts were responsive. Highly recommend coming here for a stay nearby Hikkaduwa and major attractions.

We had a wonderful time at Surf Lodge! The location is perfect, the onsite cafe has really delicious food and drinks, and the apartment was exactly what we hoped for! Chethana is a fantastic host, too! Really friendly, proactive and attentive to his guests. Will absolutely stay here again.

The villa matches the description exactly. The owner of the villa and his family are incredibly helpful and polite people. We are glad that we stopped with them. Our stay was completed with all amenities and comfort.

We had an incredible time at villa with our friends! The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. The pool overlooking the ocean was breathtaking, with easy access to the beach. The terrace was perfectly set up, equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy the views. The villa had three comfortable bedrooms, each well-equipped with essentials, especially air conditioning and mosquito repellent devices, which made our stay pleasant. The kitchen was spacious and convenient and we loved gathering around the large dining table for the last dinner at villa with friends. Special thanks to the concierge, who was always there to help us with any technical details around the house, from lighting to other amenities. We will definitely recommend this villa to other friends planning a stay in Hikkaduwa!

We cannot recommend staying here enough! The villa is situated in the best part of the Unawatuna beach stretch - it is more secluded quiet from crowds and much more beautiful! It is also a very short walk away from Turtle Bay where you can swim with turtles! The view is amazing, especially at sunset and the on-site staff are extremely helpful. Breakfast is delicious and convenient, cooked by Sunil who is a great cook and host. He is attentive, helping us to book airport transfers, taxis into nearby Galle, as well as offer advice on the best spots and shops in town. My favourite part was falling asleep to the sound of waves and the view from the top front room!

Was a wonderful place to stay. Close to the beach and away from crowds. Chathura is a helpful, cheerful, polite host - very keen to help out with anything. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and directions to the main road. Would love to return here !

Our stay at Lighthouse Inn was fantastic! Located right in front of the iconic Galle Lighthouse, the views and historic charm were unbeatable. The room was clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after exploring the fort. The highlight was the host’s exceptional hospitality—they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, offering helpful local tips and making us feel truly welcome. With its prime location and warm service, Lighthouse Inn is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Galle Fort. Highly recommended!

Too good, looked scary to approach but totally worth it

We had a blissful two weeks at Villa Vador. It feels like you’re right in the jungle although still close enough to town, supermarkets, decent restaurants and the beach. Only a few minutes by tuktuk.  The sights and sounds of the jungle are mesmerising. You’ll spot mongoose, the endangered purple-face langur monkey, monitor lizards and palm squirrels just by sitting on the patio!  We cannot overstate how welcoming and helpful Sasun and his crew were. The food was delicious, plentiful and presented with love. They’d frequently bring out a small surprise like a fresh coconut or presented us with a Sri Lankan delicacy to try. The house was clean and obvious care has gone into the upkeep, things look fresh and not rundown. We wondered many times how they keep the place so clean whilst being surrounded by jungle.  The villa is perfectly appointed around the pool. Coco-Mari is a simple yet wonderful home on the beach - with easy access to Hikka town and nearby restaurants. Having a direct access to almost a private beach as well as multiple spots within the house to relax, the place feels like the perfect vacation spot away from the crowd.

Amazing apartment, just like in the photos – with a breathtaking view of the ocean. This place is exactly as advertised and even better in person! The panoramic ocean views from the apartment are absolutely stunning. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain it. Everything was fresh, organized, and well-kept, which made our stay even more comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there are plenty of towels, toiletries, and other essentials. The attention to detail made it feel like home. Sam was incredibly responsive and welcoming from the moment we booked. They made sure we had all the information we needed, provided great local recommendations. Cons: The ocean in this area is not ideal for swimming – the waters can be a bit rough. However, a short tuk-tuk ride will take you to a much better beach with calmer waters.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a private and cozy stay in Hikkaduwa. It's a very clean, neat and cozy little house sorrounded by an amazing lush garden! It feels very private and calm, and its just a 5-7 minutes walk from the beach and maine street in Hikka. Would def stay here again! And Eva is a attentive and kind host.

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

Amazing apartment with awesome views. Loved the pool. The restaurant food was very good and they did room service too.

Best value for money. The place was exactly like advertised and was equipped with brand new equipment. Very comfortable with a classy interior and other arrangements.
