Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kita City

Ko-san was friendly and accommodating, offering flexibility with the check-in time. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, which can be challenging with luggage, but Ko-san kindly carried my bags up during check-in. He provided clear instructions and shared plenty of local recommendations, which added to the experience. The location is highly convenient, being close to Nishi-Ogikubo Station, making it easy to get around. While the proximity to the station means you can hear the trains, the noise stops after the last train of the night, and as a heavy sleeper, it didn’t bother me. The apartment itself is fascinating, with unique architecture and design, making it a memorable stay.

The host responded very quickly and kindly. I asked a few questions about the check-in time, and they flexibly adjusted the check-in time so I was able to enjoy my trip comfortably. The accommodation was really clean, and the surrounding streets were quiet. It was also convenient to use the subway because of the good transportation. Thanks to you, I had a good trip. Yoshi-san’s house is conveniently located not far from the Sensoji Temple and the Nakamise-dori street which is a shopping street with plenty to see and buy! The Asakusa train station is also accessible, takes about 10-15 minutes’ walk to reach the station where the trains can take you as far as Ginza and Shibuya! There is also a lovely bakery, plenty of restaurants nearby and convenience stores too; all within walking distance of his house. Yoshi has generously provided us with ample supply of towels and bath amenities. The house has heating units and also a washer/dryer machine is a god-send! A portable wifi and Suica cards were also made available and are free to be used.

It’s a two storey house, so do expect to climb a short flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms. What an experience it was for us, sleeping on tatami mats - so good for the back, though not so friendly to the knees of the two older ones in our group. That said, we still enjoyed our short stay! Great hidden spot in a cozy neighborhood with local restaurants and easy access to Roppongi and subway stations. Akari was friendly and very responsive!

Thoroughly enjoyed the 9 nights at this place. Very near to Togoshi station with easy connectivity to Shinjuku, Shibuya. Peaceful neighbourhood with a 7-11 store nearby. The place is quite spacious for 2 people. Will come back again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Masakatsu's place. The apartment's proximity to the station made it convenient to travel to various popular cities in Tokyo. As an introvert, I appreciated the tranquility of the neighborhood and would highly recommend it to solo travelers and those who love quiet places.

The owners of this Airbnb are so nice, they are very responsive and try and do whatever they can to help. The whole building (and a lot of the buildings around it) is unfortunately under construction right now and I had to get moved rooms. I was a little worried since a previous review had kind of bashed the listing and said bad things about it, but I had quite the opposite experience. The view from the balcony wasn’t as great as the other one I was supposed to have, but the room itself is amazing. The location is also unbeatable, you are right in the heart of shibuya and 8-10 minutes walking from the metro stations. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to a friend.

Tony-San was the bomb! Totally easy-going and super-friendly. He spoke English and Japanese and gave us the down-lo on all things Tokyo. He directed us to a really cool festival Otorisama right in our neighborhood. My nephew (fluent in Japanese) and I not out to dinner with him and his lovely wife. It was a hilarious night with brilliant conversation. He even dialed me in to some cool restaurants back home in Texas. (He knows a frequent traveler who stays with him that owns an authentic Taiwanese cuisine restaurant—very cool.) The apartment was super convenient with easy to follow instructions. It could easily accommodate a family of four. I had the main bedroom to myself and stretched out over the 2-tatami bed, which was a luxury as most budget accommodations are NARROW. So, very glad to get spoiled for the last leg of our journey in Japan. Located in Asakusa, the apt is within easy striking distance to a number of must-go destinations. Highly recommended; will stay with him again!

It is also convenient to go to the Asakusa area, and you can walk to the station in about 10 minutes. There were also many beds, so it was suitable for many people. I really liked that you gave me extra towels.

Kan’s place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a single traveller. He was always letting me know to ask him for any questions and was very communicative throughout my stay. I had to be quite careful going into the bathtub and down the stairs. One thing though, I wished there was a bigger mirror as there is only the one above the bathroom sink. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful stay!!

His place was large and bet clean. Or was near the station and bus terminal. Also near a great park and many shopping malls and restaurants. it was close to the Sky Tree. We roamed around the neighborhood and had great coffee at elementary school coffee and a wonderful dinner & lunch at Fu Fu Hentan

This is the second time my friends and I have booked Tokuaki's BnB. We love it just as much as the first time back in 2018. Very spacious and clean. Close to many attractions and train station but still very peaceful. Very easy to get to and from Narita Airport using the airport limousine bus at the Metropolitan Hotel. Tokuaki is very responsive and helpful, a great host with a lovely home. Would definitely recommend and book again in the future.

This was our second year staying at Yuko’s home and it was just as perfect as the first visit! The home is clean, comfortable and in a great location, just minutes from the Oedo line and across from a Family Mart and Daiso. I love that it feels modern and cozy at the same time. The ramen restaurant directly across the street is also one of the best bowls of ramen I had in Japan. I love sitting and looking out into the back garden, and it’s such a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We hope to return again in the future!

Nobu was incredibly responsive and helpful with any question we had. His home was spotless and exactly as advertised. Nobu’s home and hospitality was top notch, highly recommended.

The place was as expected, small but perfect for Tokyo. It is in a great area. It is close to the station and far enough, making it quite at night. The host responds fast and is helpful.

Don’t be put off by the rules- be respectful and this is a great stay. Nice and quiet and close to many food places and stations. The host is very helpful and responsive and even offered to make a restaurant reservation for us. We loved our stay!

This side of Tokyo is a bit calmer, so there was no noise pollution, which was a nice change of pace. The apartment was bigger than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. Fell in love with the AC and all the convenience stores nearby. Host is quick and understanding!
