Coast and Forest -Idyllic retreat in Sandyhills

NickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As others have said, Fern Lodge is a fantastic place to stay when visiting the area and Kate & Robert are lovely welcoming hosts! Fern Lodge is essentially a perfect little private studio apartment, beautifully decorated with many of Kate's atmospheric paintings and set within the peaceful grounds of Kate & Roberts home. We loved sitting in the lounge with a coffee watching all the different birds swoop down to eat at the bird feeders and were very grateful to receive a loaf of freshly baked bread from Robert on our arrival. Will definitely stay again anytime we're back in the area!

Gorgeous Kippford Home With Outstanding Views

Jo-AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful caravan with the most magnificent views over the park. Lovely interior, clean and comfortable. Very easy to find. It’s near the top of the park and the view of the stars from the decking, with two Tawny Owls chirping away in the background, was really special. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Beautiful Home in Gorgeous Kippford Country Park

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at this well appointed caravan - the cleanliness and tidiness was second to none and you felt straight at home. The area has some great adventures for thrill seekers or a peaceful retreat for those wanting a break. The children had a blast and we will certainly be back!

The Nook, Barend. Contemporary Swiss style chalet

KristinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful few days away in this beautiful home. We found it to be everything as stated. The surrounds are fab, beach was right on the door step, just all round great. Lots of logs for those chilly evenings, very cozy. Communication with Leigh and Tom. Thank you!

I’ve been visiting Barend for over 40 years and this is the first time I’ve stayed at Joyce’s cabin, I couldn’t ask for more. I would always recommend this cabin & host

Trefoil Treat

SallyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely relaxing week at Trefoil Treat. Great area for long dog walks, all well explained in the hosts book. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed including a lovely welcome pack for us and our two dogs. Wendy was a first class host and very welcoming. We would highly recommend this cottage for anyone coming to the area.

Roseneath Cottage

SusanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had lovely 5 days in the cottage and felt very much at home. Thanks for all the lovely treats: The cake, the marmalade, the dog biscuits, the chutney - all very kind and we loved all of it and our dog Luna, too. We also loved the provision of towels, poo bags and blankets for the dog - we had brought all of this ourselves but liked that it was also provided. Thank you for providing fire wood and preparing the fire in the lounge. As the weather has not been great, the fire was so lovely after an afternoon outside. The kitchen is well equipped and there was nothing we missed. The bathroom is modern with a fab shower. The cottage is cosy including the bedrooms are upstairs - with a small landing between them. As the bedrooms are attic rooms they have slanted walls, so you have to be careful when you get up, also when going downstairs. This has not been an issue for us but is worth mentioning. We had a great time - thank you!
