Saddie and Bart are really wonderful hosts - always friendlyand helpful. They communicated very well and always sorted out any issues as well as they were able and as promptly as possible. The property is gorgeous and feels like home immediately with all the things we needed. We stayed for a month and loved the beautiful valley and views and of course swam every day. Because we were in Tinos for a whole month the house really felt like home. We would love to come back one day. Pim and Jane from New Zealand.

Volta Kalloni was a perfect spot to explore all the corners of the beautiful island of Tinos. Margherita is a delightful person, very courteous and attentive. He welcomed us with vegetables from his garden and other homemade Greek delicacies. Everything was great! To get to the accommodation you have to park the car a hundred meters from the house. Margherita greeted us at the parking lot and then took us to the house. You have to climb a few stairs to get to the balcony, where there is a table and the entrance to the apartment. It was very clean and had all the necessary tools.

Beautiful apartment close to a gorgeous beach, it was very peaceful and quiet in October. 20mins drive from the main town and closer to other villages and cafes. Perfect for our family, the view was amazing and Yannis was very responsive though we didn’t get to meet him. Check in was smooth and we were able to check out late too.

It was a great place in a very quiet peaceful location. It was a short walk to a beach and some local restaurants and a very short taxi ride from downtown. They were very helpful with calling a taxi for us to the apartment and responsive for any questions we had.

Giorgos was amazing with us, always attentive and helped us to hire the van that took us from the AirPort to the Airbnb. When we arrived at the house, he welcomed us with a bottle of wine and explained how everything worked. The place was incredible for a large group like ours. Additionally, Giorgos let us name the cats that were at the Airbnb because didn't have names. We named them Pancho and Satalana. We will definitely return; thank you so much for everything!

Friendly hosts convenient, location walking distance to beach and town

This small beach house is pretty much what anyone would imagine a small, remote Greek beach escape to be. We visited out of season, with superb weather and sea temperature in October. Be aware that some restaurants close early in the month, but the taverna above the beach and the cocktail bar in the next bay over were still functioning and are both to be recommended. Supplies for self-catering are best bought in Chora, the main town where the ferry lands, before venturing across to Kolimbithra. Tinos has extraordinary landscapes to explore and trails to walk, for those inclined to do so. Be prepared with insect repellent, particularly when the wind blows from the south. Or better still, submerge yourself in the crystal clear water, which is the main attraction of this special spot, far from any madding crowds!
