Vacation rentals in Killingworth

We have a lovely cosy weekend getaway at Mindaribba Cottage, Sally was the ultimate host and greeted us with freshly baked bread just out of the oven and treats which were so delicious and unexpected! Spotless accommodation & amenities, felt right at home. Maisy the dog was very friendly too 🐶 we were able to cook both nights with ample cooking utensils and extra condiments etc I wasn’t expecting. View overlooking beautiful green rolling hills and loved hearing the cows mooing in the morning! Thank you so much Sally for letting us stay in your cottage, I highly recommend for a weekend out of the city. Was perfect for my partner and I and we hope to come back.

A very well equipped place with all the amenities I could hope for. Level parking, bread, butter, cream, eggs, oil, honey, sugar, coffee, as well as cleaners, and dish/laundry soap. Excellent Wi-Fi. Very gracious hosts who respected my privacy yet made me feel very welcome. Lots of lovely towns nearby and only eight minutes to a Costco with the cheapest gas in the entire region and excellent supplies. Newcastle Street art and beach walks are not to be missed. everything was absolutely spotless and easy to maintain with space for my stuff. I did not miss TV one bit. lots of shopping within 15 minute drive. Their town is also a train stop between Brisbane and Sydney and there is a very long walking track around the corner from their place all along the lake side for many kilometers. The lake was a peaceful place to take a book. It is a few blocks away by walking or a five minute drive to the park with lots of parking. Many community amenities within 10 minute drive.

My Wife was recovering from a major operation, and we were using our stay as rehab for her. It was a very enjoyable stay, made even better by our Host, Georgie. My wife and I both enjoyed the Bali feel, with the pool and its surrounds drawing us in. Even though it rained during our stay, the monsoonal like atmosphere enhanced things further. Great place to relax and destress. It is a lovely area with many eating places etc close by. being 2 people in our 70ties and having some disability, Georgie couldn't have been better - She is very helpful, very caring, responsive and super-efficient. This is a wonderful place that I would highly recommend. Studio is clean, comfortable and very homely. This place provides a private, peaceful environment alongside lovely host Julia, who is responsive and helpful when contacted. Julia is brilliant. Very friendly with a laidback and welcoming presence. Perfect location whether you’re wanting convenient access to wine country or just a quiet escape.

Kelly’s Place is by far one of the most unique places we’ve ever stayed. It’s a beautiful old church and Kelly and James have put their own touch of personality to the home. Our host Kelly and James are most hospitable and welcoming upon arrival and during our entire stay. Beautiful home and wonderful people, recommend anyone visiting the Hunter and Newcastle area to seriously consider visiting Kelly’s Place I know we will be back

Brown Muir Cottage was an absolutely lovely place to stay. The views were incredible and it was so, so peaceful. I enjoyed being able to do a bushwalk nearby and then settling down for the evening in a very charming home with everything I needed. It was clearly very well looked-after. I hope to visit again someday!
