House vacation rentals in Kilifi Creek

My stay in Watamu, with my two friends, was very lovely. Yasmin, Antonio, and Mary made our stay very comfortable with their warm personalities and responsiveness to any queries we had throughout our visit. This was much appreciated when we needed assistance with things in the house. The open plan feel of the apartment with the strong breeze was something of a lifeline in the heat by the Indian Ocean and the effective A/C in all bedrooms was a blessing. The pool was clean and also very quiet which made mornings and evenings very peaceful to swim. The apartment is very well located and is just 5minutes, if that, to Watamu beach and also positioned close to the bank and nearby shops. I will be staying here again if and when I am on the coast, Gus (UK 23-29/08/24)

What a cool experience. The villa is 1/2 of a large unit in a small complex of traditional Kenyan style architecture villas around a long communal pool. There were two big bedrooms on the ground floor and a very large common area and 3BR upstairs. The unit was spotless and guests are tended by the caretaker Edison. Mr Edison is a very good cook and recommend his daily breakfasts and dinners. He also arranged a massage for us in the communal massage tables / tent. A very cool Kenyan experience. Top standards and extremely clean. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gianni's place! It is located in a very good area in Watamu and close to everything. I also loved the fact that it is so private. The house itself is also very nice. The kitchen supplies are maybe a bit basic without a kettle/toaster. But nothing to be worried about. Every night there is a night guard, which gave me a safe feeling. Although he doesn't speak English which sometimes caused some language barriers. The owner Gianni was always very responsive and easy to communicate with! Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was beautifully clean and in easy walking distance to shop, restaurants and the beach. The swimming pool was excellent and the staff were very nice.

A Home Away from Home! - We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful home - from start to finish, we were blown away. The house itself is stunning, spacious with simple but beautiful décor. A lovely pool set in a pretty garden was the perfect spot for most of our relaxing times between visits to the beach which is close by! The team of staff here were absolutely incredible - Mercy, Janet & Vincent were always available to help wherever needed, and all so friendly and kind! William's cooking was out of this world - fresh seafood was arranged every day and the most oustanding meals produced every time! We loved our week here, and would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a private home, in quiet part of Watamu! We will be back for sure!

Our stay at Daniela's place was great, the house and rooms are beautifully decorated and professionally cleaned by the staff everyday. We also enjoyed the large spacious garden, the friendly dogs and the pool for relaxing in. We were well taken care of by the chef and the rest of the staff who made our stay very comfortable and helped with everything we needed. The location is also decent with it not being far from restaurants and other attractions in Malindi town as well as the beach and beach restaurants. Overall, I'd say it's a good option if you're looking for a place to stay on holiday in Malindi.

This is a lovely house on the beach just next to Treehouse Watamu. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the house has lots of spots to relax and hangout. It also has a nice pool, good mosquito nets and lots of fans. The ocean is a 3 minute walk and this particular stretch of beach is peaceful, empty and hassle free. The house has two good sized double rooms with a bunkbed (double down, single up) in a small corridor. It fit our family of five perfectly. Will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed Bulloch House. It worked well for two families with plenty of space. Dominique and the team looked after us well and produced good meals. The pool was beautifully clean and the main seating area very comfortable. We also enjoyed using the bar area. A great house for a family holiday.

Very clean house, peaceful neighborhood with good security. Babra was friendly, flexible with check in and check out time, and responded to messages within very short time. I Was there for very short time but enjoyed the stay. Will recommend 💯.

Alice is an amazing and caring host. She guided us on amenities to visit and even gave us a free ride to the Serena public beach, which was great, and even recommended other places of interest. Please book your stay with her when you visit Mombasa. I also loved the fact there were functional and reliable air conditioners in both bedrooms.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Mutindi house. It was clean, the staff was great and Sandra did a great job communicating throughout our stay. Would definitely go back again!

Me and my family had a great stay, Caroline property is absolutely amazing and I will definitely be back again, we felt right at home.

The space is exactly what you want for a beach getaway with friends - beautiful coastline and sea views off the back verandah. The staff are incredibly helpful yet unobtrusive, and being on Bofa Road means the rest of Kilifi is easily accessible. Highly recommended!

Banana house was perfect. Martin was very welcoming and very helpful during our stay. The pool was so clean and we kept on swimming till late night. Generally the house was very clean. The distance to the beach was a 4 minute walk and it was very convenient for us. We plan on say there again next year. Thank you Emilie and Martin.

This is a "2nd-row" house, but it is such a close walk. The breeze is also less on the first two floors, but the rooftop is so lovely for sundowners and nighttime. Even with the heat, the fans all worked great. With the high heat for our March visit, it was so lovely having a pool that is shaded most of the day. This was a huge bonus. Ideally we like being right on the water, but this house is a great option that we'll definitely keep in mind for the future. The entire staff was great. Jackson is one of the best chefs we've had at the coast. By far the most organized. He not only discussed the menu with me, but he sent me a description of each meal, complete with a shopping list that included quantities! Made it so much easier. The house is even more spacious than we had thought. It is a beautiful house with nice little touches all around such as artwork, amenities, etc.

Daniele's place was a wonderful and memorable experience for us. The staff members are super friendly, thumbs up to the security guard ;Tete and Michael. The cleaners Jacky and Amina, they are very friendly and helpful. Daniele's place was very clean and free of clutter. Many places to have activities and are all so close to each other. We will definitely come.

Sajid’s place is a very quiet chilled spot - it’s 2 or 3 cottages around a pool in a beautiful green garden, about 5 mins walk to the beach. Sajid was super helpful as was the caretaker John who was always on hand to help get a tuk tuk etc. Safari’s cooking was also really really good but you need to discuss with Sajid the arrangements and whether he will cook 1-3 meals per day etc. Overall, a great spot to enjoy Kilifi from.

We had a wonderful experience at Geoffrey's Airbnb. The location is perfect-centrally situated, making it incredibly easy to access all the places we planned to visit in Watamu. Check-in was a breeze, and Geoffrey was an excellent host, always avallable to help and quick to respond to any questions we had. The added perks of the on-site restaurant and pool made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxed and convenient trip!

It was a lovely and relaxing stay.

Bahati Beach House was amazing. Our family had a wonderful stay. The staff is made up of amazing guys that so helpful and friendly. The food was incredible. the beach is quiet and peaceful with really great snorkeling available. there is a marine preserve directly or from the house with guides to help ensure you see great fish and coral. Just be prepared to pay the conservancy group to snorkel inside the preserve. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay at Kivulini house! It is very spacious house with bright airy feel and we were all very comfortable. The swimming pool was very clean and looked after daily. It overlooks the beach with awesome views. Access to the beach is a 2 min walk. The beach is really nice for the kids to play in low tide and we all also enjoyed riding the waves in the high tide! John and the staff are very friendly and looked after us very well throughout our stay! All the rooms have air conditioning. All in all, I would recommend Kivulini house to families looking to spend quality time together and make memorable memories! Thank you to Jasmine, John and team and we hope to return soon!

Hard to describe how wonderful this place was. Amazing place for a team working retreat. Enzo's food was incredible and the staff took care of our every need, making this the perfect environment for our team of 5 to get together in a beautiful environment.
