Monthly Rentals in Kicking Horse River

Bear haus is such a beautiful property in such a beautiful place. Myself and my family had an incredible stay there and loved all of the thoughtful touches the host had added to the place. It was so cosy, we didn’t want to leave!

Jordan and his wife were friendly and gave clear instructions for checkin. They also provided us a playpen for our baby and good recommendations for us to view bear. We ended up watching bear from kitchen window in the street. Lovely stay. Thanks. Will visit again.

Good place to stay on the road between Calgary and Vancouver. Very big basement apartment which could serve as a base if going skiing to Golden. Everything was clean and we had a good night sleep after a 12 hour drive. We encountered only 1 problem which is not affecting my 5 star review, but it is very important. I will just mention for people sensitive to fragrances (like myself) there was an electric air refreshener plugged in every room in the apartment which created huge problems for me. Had to remove all of those, leave entrance door opened for 2 hours and turn on all the fans in the apartment to try to get the smell out. Also everything in the apartment is highly scented (shampoos, detergents) so bring your own if staying or ask the host to accommodate you before you come so there is no unpleasant surprises. We travel a lot and it is an unwritten rule to get unscented products this is where this could improve. Again this applies to 1% of people but still...

Great location just outside of Golden. Place was clean and exactly as described. The private hot tub is excellent to relax in. Hosts were very friendly and responsive.
