Crow Cottage is newly rebuilt and decorated in an eclectic whimsical style by the artist owners. It is light and airy with a private shade deck and sunny patio. The Cottage has a queen bed. There is no air conditioning but it's very well insulated so it doesn't get too hot in the summer. There is a fan. Set on a country lane just a 3 min walk to 3 great restaurants & gourmet market. While we do have rescued cats in our yard we don't let them in any of the rooms. If highly allergic, reconsider.
“Beautiful cottage, tucked in a charming backyard fit for relaxing. John and Della are stellar hosts, and made us incredibly comfortable during our stay. The artwork throughout the property is fantastic and memorable. I'd strongly recommend this place if you need an escape within the Bay Area and a place to rest your head if you are visiting wine country. Super peaceful and clean. Wish we could have stayed more nights!”
Enjoy the beautiful wooded area and our family owned historic cabin. Our gas fireplace, hot spa, fine bedding, and high speed wi-fi await. We're 10 min from wineries/dining in Kenwood and Glen Ellen in the heart of Sonoma Valley, adjacent to Napa Valley, with fantastic wineries, restaurants, breweries and 4 state parks with a free pass! We have ample elec. outlets, condiments, bottled water, hot beverage options, maps/guidebooks and more. We welcome friendly people of all backgrounds.
“The cabin is comfy and cozy with pretty much everything a person could need. I was there on a solo personal retreat and it was just right for that but would also be great for a couple's getaway. The cabin is behind Diana and Charles' home but has plenty of privacy and is set right at the edge of the woods. I enjoyed watching deer and bluejays while reading and working on the couch with the door open or out on the porch. Loved the hot tub in the evenings when things cooled off enough to draw me there. It's pretty quiet and gets nice and dark at night, which made for good sleeping. The cabin is set in a shady spot and has windows on both sides and with the ceiling fan and extra fan they put in there, had plenty of air circulation to cool things down in the comfortably in the afternoons. The outdoor shower is covered and lovely, especially after a soak in the hot tub or a hike. Though I didn't use it much, the kitchen is well appointed for cooking up a nice meal. I appreciated the extra touches like the parking pass for the local parks and the info on restaurants and wine tasting spots. Location feels secluded but is very close to Glen Ellen and Kenwood and only 20 min to Sonoma town square. The communication with hosts was super responsive and Diana met me to give me a quick overview (masked and appropriately socially distanced). I felt welcomed and cared for and hope to be back for another retreat sometime!”
Vaulted ceilings make the Studio's 400 square feet feel even larger, as do the French doors opening onto lush gardens. The roomy sectional and Tempurpedic king bed are just right for sprawling, and guests find all that’s needed in the clean, modern bathroom. A private patio offers shade for coffee or cocktails, and the quiet, residential neighborhood allows restful sleep. Studio 455 is located a few blocks from a world-famous spa, and just minutes from Sonoma's charming downtown.
“I recently came to Sonoma with my boyfriend and we had a great time staying in this airbnb. The cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated and the bikes were a huge plus. Sonoma is a big biking town and it made our trip so fun to be able to zip around that way. Our hosts were also very accomodating and I would definitely stay here again! Thanks!”
