This was cute cottage, was as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Maybe 5 minute walk from the train station and probably less than 5 minute walk to downtown which had all kinds of restaurants and shops. We really appreciated the book of recommendations for local activities and hikes. Communication was good as well. Thank you for the stay!

Great place to say. I was worried about hearing the trams, traffic and the outside world during the night but we heard nothing, a great sleep. Clean, beautiful house. Everything you need plus more in a house. Would stay again. Easy access to Blackpool & other places! Loads of lovely places to eat near by. 😊

I had a wonderful stay at Sharu's place! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Sharu was a responsive and thoughtful host, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The neighborhood was quiet, beautiful and conveniently located near everything I needed. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again!

We were four separate, senior girlfriends and had enough room and enjoyed the location and easy communication with Elisabeth. We had an issue that Elizabeth helped us to resolve. The location is wonderful for enjoying the town or walking straight from the house to and around the lake, driving or walking to Castlerigg stone circle or heading out on an adventure which we did when we drove to Buttermere and then onto St. Bee’s through the windy country roads! The home had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would have enjoyed a higher quality set of linens in the bedrooms and bath towels as well but for a four night stay everything was fine. I recommend staying at Elisabeth’s home in Keswick.

Lovely house in a great place, really enjoyed the stay

Jill's Cottage was perfect for our few days in Keswick. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location couldn't have been better for walking into town and down to Derwent Water. Having a place to park was such a bonus. There is a fabulous bakery just across the street from the cottage. The view down the street towards the hills is magnificent. We can't wait to go back.

Site is well thought out for privacy, everything was a high standard, standard of staff was high, cleanliness high, lodge fantastic, site was fantastic, outdoor pool clean tidy heated and very relaxing, whole 2 day experience was exceptional from start to finish

The lodge was very spacious, perfect for a family - and in a brilliant location. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery. If you're looking for a relaxing break, it was ideal.

The most amazing location, cabin is wonderful has EVERYTHING you could ever need, there’s not many places I could stay a week but we could here! We will be back, the pool is a great addition for children also. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your cabin ⭐️

Lovely relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings with amazing private pool facilities. David was proactive and gave us all the info we needed to find the cottage and check in easily. Cottage was clean, spacious yet cosy and as per photos. Kitchen was extremely well kitted out. Kids loved the pool. Only slight issue was how hot the bedroom in the pool house was but it was a very hot weekend outside and it didn't spoil the stay. Thank you David, it was wonderful.

We had a great time here. Everything was as described, clean and in working order. The hot tub was great as was the location of the cabin right next to the small beach, swimming pool and bar. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Fabulous stay at Cala Gran. Very luxurious with all the kitchen mod cons with pods and chocolate for the machines. Absolutely exceptional! Great for kids of all ages Plenty of room shame we only stayed one night. Bathrooms very clean, same with bedroom and Lounge. Kitchen cupboard and microwave needed a wipe down but nothing major. Will 100% stay again!

Stayed here for a couple of days to be able to explore the Lake District. Great Location, there was a Leisure centre nearby for just £12pp for use of the pool and sauna. The Lodge itself was lovely, no complaints. Martin was incredibly proactive, with super quick and friendly responses.

We needed a quiet peaceful location and got exactly that. The accommodation was immaculately clean. We would definitely come back. The hosts are excellent.

Angela's place is cosy and comfortable, as close to the delightful town centre of Penrith as it is to the larger shops for all needed supplies and very near the lovely local park with castle ruins to explore. One word of wisdom for future visitors is that you do need to turn on the second pull switch in the bathroom to get the shower going, but after that it's a lovely warm shower too.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Andrea’s place. We wanted to go somewhere we could really unwind and we could do exactly that here! It was super dog friendly and Rudy loved every second of his break. The place was perfect for what we needed.

Mel and Jason’s place was lovely. Communications and instructions were super clear, and lots of ideas for places to go. I was there for a short weekend with my dog and the village was great for little dog walks and a good base for exploring. The place was lovely with everything you might need. I didn’t need any help but I was certain that if I did it would have been no problem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

There is no doubt it is beautiful decorated welcoming everything we needed The main road turning right is quite busy, 40 minutes drive to Williamson Park, 50 minutes to Lancaster We ate in the 1st night, second. Ight at the Shard, fabulous Very clean, beautiful quiet location, great secure parking, plenty of safe space for children, super patio area & hot tub ( we didn’t use) The little Coop five minutes drive away, we were planning to walk to the local pub but were unsure of the road although quiet drove to another restaurant. The heating was on even though in May, log fire, just enough for us rather than purchasing, great freezer, hot water plenty of space for families to spread around. In the visitors book families stay for Christmas now that would be wonderful as the hosts decorate the cottage that I guess would be magical

We were arriving very late at night on our way south. Trish & Dave were very helpful with directions and making sure the drive and property were lit up so we could find it in the dark. The property was super clean.

lovely off grid home. isolated location with sheep and surrounding countryside. would be nice to live somewhere like this. the drive could be tricky for some, especially if low slung car, and 2 gates to pass through. but if you take your time and are careful it's reachable. we couldn't get the WiFi TV working but our own projector worked well . Durham is about an hour away and lovely villages all around. must visit north Pennines more often.

Comfortable cottage, great location central to all amenities great for dog walking and pub/restaurant access. Responsive host who insured we had all the information we needed prior to arrival . Unable to park outside the cottage but were given helpful instructions as to where else we could use the parking permit just a short distance away. Would love to return and would recommend friends and family. Weather was perfect as an added bonus!
