Vacation rentals with a sauna in Kemijärvi

Marti and Maria's cabin is a wonderful and cozy place. It is situated in the best location, right at the bottom of the slopes of Pyha ski resort and yet it feels quite secluded. You do have neighbors but you don't feel like you are in the middle of a busy bustling place but rather as if you are in a small quiet village. Everything you need - supermarket, restaurants and rental places are all within walking distance. The cabin itself is exactly as described and the fireplace and sauna were wonderful in the evenings. The host's recommendations were also very useful. We highly recommend this place, don't hesitate, it's really worth it. The only small downside is the cleaning that you need to do at the end of your stay, which includes hoovering the carpets and washing the floors. You can order a final cleaning but it is a bit pricey. However, from what we've seen, it is a common requirement in many places in Finland.

We loved our stay at Satu’s. Very clean and organized. The stuff in her kitchen and pantry are well thought off. Clean bathroom, even the balcony is clean. Satu is very hospitable and friendly. She met us at the apartment to welcome us and show how stuff work. I appreciated it so much when she offered to drive us to the grocery store to pick up some items. Thank you so much Satu!

Magnifique séjour dans le logement à Miia. Quel bel appartement, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps tellement nous nous y sentions bien. Miia a été très accueillante et nous étions libres de venir quand nous le souhaitions. De superbes activités sont proposées tout autour du logement, c’était vraiment pratique et idéal pour nous. Perfect stay in this beautiful old school turned into a place to stay for locals and travelers alike. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, clean and cozy. The surroundings are just lovely - you can ski and/or go snowshoeing right for the place. Everyone is so friendly. We can not recommend this place enough and hope to come back one day!

Perfect place for perfect vacation. Spotless cleand and functional apartment, comfortable mattress, kitchen fully equipped with all you need to cook ( full cupboards of spices ❣️) Walking distance to city centre and walking trails. Supermarket just 5 minutes by foot. My kids 8 and 10 years old loved the two sledges provided ,so much fun in the snow. Direct access to back garden, lovely terrace with barbecue (coals provided). And the cherry on top was the sauna, just perfect after a day in the cold. Will definitely be back next year.

We had an excellent stay at Anne House. Very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4 (would easily suit 6). The kitchen was well-equipped, beds and sofa were comfy (plus a big TV), and the sauna was a big bonus. The location is perfect if you enjoy a peaceful, slightly remote feel — yet the bus stop and a shop are just a few hundred meters away. Communication was fast and easy throughout. We loved the place — highly recommended. Thanks, Anne!

Hem estat molt bé! La casa està ben equipada, en un lloc molt tranquil i perfecte per anar a passejar pel bosc. Molt a prop del llac. La comunicació amb els anfitrions fàcil i agradable, estaven disponibles per atendre qualsevol cosa (cosa que no ha fet falta perquè tot ha anat perfecte). Molt contents!

Nimensä veroinen Lapin Pesä. Kauniit vanhat huonekalut, astiat juhlavia. Helppo asustaa, ei yhtään porrasta.

Santo's apartment is very nice, it was a good experience for the last night in Finland. it's close to the airport. the parking is good. the kitchen is well equipped, the flat is very aesthetic and warm. Santos mother waited for us in the parking and shows us everything. Santos responses were fast. the Appointment located in a small neighborhood in the suburban, the supermarket is 2 minutes walk. the only thing that should be mentioned is the double bed which is more a bed and a half. we had a good and comfortable stay. thank you Santos!

Todo perfecto. El alojamiento súper acogedor, ideal para dos personas. Un poco lejos de la ciudad para tener más intimidad, pero es muy fácil de acceder en coche, además de que está al lado del aeropuerto y queda a 5/10 minutos de todo lo que quieras ver. Heidi ha estado muy atenta en todo el proceso, contesta rápido y resuelve todas las dudas que tengas. Volvería a reservarlo sin duda si volviera a Rovaniemi.

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

We recently stayed in Tero’s amazing house and I can honestly say, it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely wooden beams. The ambiance is warm and cosy and it feels like a home away from home! The amenities are top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area and spotless bedding, and even a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day out in the snow. The location is great too! Nestled in a wooded area, it is just a short 10 min walk to Santa Clause Village, shops and restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rovaniemi. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Tero for your amazing hospitality!

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

We felt right at home, our host Miika had left us some snacks and chocolate which was a surprise after the long trip. We felt very welcomed. The house had option to use sauna and we all had a great night sleep.

Wunderbare Unterkunft mit allen Annehmlichkeiten (indoor und Outdoor Sauna). Gute Lage - absolut ruhig und uneinsehbar und trotzdem in 10 Minuten in Rovaniemi.

Boli sme skupina učiteľov na pobyte na blízkej škole. Ubytovanie nám vyhovovalo a splňalo naše očakavánia (bolo nás 9), dostatok priestoru a pohodlie. Užili sme si aj prechádzky v okolí a pozorovanie polárnej žiary :). Ocenili sme aj jedlo ktoré bolo k dispozícii, vybavenie kuchyne a spoločný priestor na trávenie času. Henri bol komunikatívny a nápomocný hostiteľ.
