Accommodations in Karuizawa, Kitasaku District

This is a house with a great view of the Northern Alps. The floor plan with high ceilings and a sense of openness made me feel at ease away from my daily routine. I think the kitchen space is large and easy for multiple people to cook. The mornings and evening temperatures were still low in March when we visited, but we were healed by the warmth of the fireplace. I can't forget the beauty of the starry sky that goes out to the veranda at night. Thank you for a memorable stay with my family.

fantastic spot right near the mountains

We enjoyed very much our stay at Angel's place. Angel was there to greet us and was very responsive during our stay, going out of his way to make our stay even more comfortable. The house is well located in a quiet area near the ski resorts Hakuba 47 and Goryu and a short ride to town. Everything was clean, modern and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped: we could make a few meals at home and some laundry. We had a great stay at Angel's place.

What a fantastic place and a wonderful host! Traveling from the US to Japan can be daunting. But Daniel gave us plenty of options and directions for getting from Tokyo to his place in Iwatake. He even arranged for a driver to pick us up from the bus station. During our trip he was always available for questions and recommendations. Also, his place is literally ski in/ski out. The closest lift was about 25 yards from the front door. The apartment was clean, modern, and well appointed. Overall, the apartment (along with the excellent hospitality from Daniel and his staff) made our trip easy and memorable. We’ll definitely go back!

Brilliant place that is ideal for big groups. Good setup also with a kids play area & plenty of bathrooms. Really loved our stay here.

We stayed here for three nights as a group of six. It’s a cozy and comfortable Japanese-style house with a very functional kitchen. Although it felt a bit cramped for six people (room size is perfect for four), overall, it was a nice experience.

What an awesome spot. Bus stop to all the resorts was steps from the door. Walkable to Echoland and Happo area. And the host Grant was super helpful. This is a fantastic spot to base camp for skiing in Hakuba. The Airbnb was clean, with tons of space to lounge after a ski day. Felt right at home. Would highly recommend if you are in town to ski or just want a place that is centrally located in the Hakuba valley.

The place was in a great location, close to shops, food and ski hire. The place had a great kitchen and was very clean and comfortable. The host is super helpful and gave great recommendations. I would highly recommend this place to stay!!

Excellent and comfortable house in echoland. This place is a short walk to all the local restaurants and has all the amenities you could want for a holiday.
