great stay on the water for a few days of total quiet and relaxation. loved every minute of it. would recommend to anybody who wants to visit this area of Finland. the place is better than the pictures and indescribably peaceful.

Beautiful house in the middle of the Finnish countryside with breathtaking views over the lake! Offering a peaceful and tranquil getaway, the house was still easy to access by car from Helsinki and the city of Hämeenlinna is only about a half-an-hour drive away. Everything was as described in the listing, with lovely personal touches of hospitality from the owners. Also, the sauna was a big plus in the winter:-) An excellent value for money, we would be happy to come back!

The cottage had a cozy and warm vibe and the place was very peaceful. We were able to fully relax and especially enjoyed the fireplace and sauna. The vacation was pleasant and the owners of the cottage were very friendly.

The stay went well and the price-quality ratio was excellent. Good rustic grandma's cottage with amenities. The air source heat pump in the sauna room supposedly made a noise at night from time to time, but this hardly bothers you with a little warmer weather. Great place for this money, thanks to Eve.

We had a wonderful family holiday at this beautifully cabin. It was a perfect set up for my young 3 children, they loved playing in the lake and on the little beach, and were kept occupied with all the toys. Whole we enjoyed relaxing evenings in the most incredible lakeside sauna. The cabin is so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever needed. We loved smoking our own fish for lunch. Thank you Reijo and Marja, we do hope tonreturn.

Successful 70th birthday crew visit Villa Marin! The space was adequate, in the summertime the yard would have been able to enjoy even more. We got good steam in the sauna, and we found everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The host's memories for the birthday hero were delighted.

We had a really nice time at the house! They had Duplos, puzzles and a swing set for the kids, which they enjoyed a lot, as well as playing in the garden. The house is very well stocked, so a family of four can stay there comfortably. We took many trips to Tampere (Moomin Museum, Särkanniemi Park), Lahti, Luopioinen for swimming in the lake and enjoying a kids friendly beach, and of course to Helsinki a few times. You can hike in the woods, swim in the lake and use the rowing boat and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We had a really great time there!
