Amazing remote location camping in the mountains with fantastic views. If you like nature and simple living you should stay here! The tent accomodation is really cosy and you may even share your bathroom with a few small frogs! The outdoor shower has a great view. Amila and team looked after us really well, Amila is very friendly and kind, a great guy to talk to. The food the chef made was amazing ( even if there was so much we couldn't eat it all!), especially as we were so far in the mountains and everything has to be brought in. Shermal organised us a guide to trek up Knuckles Peak 1 and 2 with wonderful views from the top. The guide was excellent with a huge knowledge of plants, animals and birds. It can be cold and wet so we needed warm clothes and rain gear one day, but the fire in the dining area is lovely in the evening to keep warm by. We loved our stay here although it is hard to find..luckily our driver communicated on the phone with Amila to get directions along the way.

Super Special Hotel!It's totally a scene in a movie, much richer than I imagined, all kinds of old objects, dim tones, and suddenly feel completely crossed in.I like to sit next to the bright windows on the second floor, which is quite spacious and had a cold beer for breakfast.To be honest, I'm a little scared. The room is dark and rich in color. The rooftop rings. There are monkeys sitting there in the morning when the balcony doors are opened, and I know that the monkeys are weird on the roof.Hotels worth experiencing

This place is definitely one of the best during our trip to Sri Lanka. The road there is very bumpy and I hope they will fix it soon, and the place needs a small touch up but, the location, the rooms and the lovely staff working there are making the nights we stayed there memorable. I will definitely go back and I give them a great recommendation.

This room is very unique. All these windows provide a really funny experience and a great view. There was a misunderstanding : reading Airbnb we thought the breakfast was included but it was not. It was really good though. The building is really well situated. I recommend this place.

It is a wonderful, calm and peaceful atmosphere away from the loud town. The lake area is quite beautiful with almost no tourist there. Their yoga place is fantastic and the yoga and meditation classes excellent. We would come again anytime.

We are so very pleased with our stay at the Sweet Cinnamon! We were two families and both the children and us adults where very satisfied with the service and food. We celebrated christmas here and it will be moment we will remember with joy for a long time. We give our warmest recommandations to stay here if you visit Kandy!

The accommodation is near the train station and a 15-20 minute walk from the temple of the tooth. The room we had had the fans and A/C! Everything was clean. The host was very welcoming. The bathroom was very clean. Simple but welcoming and clean place!

Please book through Booking .com We had an amazing stay here and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The food was also amazing! But when we arrived they had no information about our booking. They only take reservations through Booking. com. Luckily they had a room available for us and we were able to spend the night in this amazing place! Definitely recommend staying here, but don’t book through Airbnb!

I’m so glad I booked Simpson’s Forest hotel for my visit to Kandy. Prior to booking, Nalaka was prompt in responding to my questions, and offering recommendations. He booked a private taxi for me, a train ticket to Ella on short notice, accommodated my late arrival, breakfast requests, etc. On arrival, Vidhu was waiting, offered me some Ceylon tea that is grown on the property. Check-in was smooth, the room was beautify, clean, and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. All amenities were stocked! From toiletries, to complementary water, to a minibar. Pictures do not do this place any justice. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy city, with views of mountains, tea fields, and trees. Breakfast was a hit! Thank you very much, Nalaka, Vidhu, and the entire team at Simpson’s forest hotel for making my stay in Kandy a memorable one. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Cogent Holiday Home. The outstanding hospitality given by Wimal and the crew needs to be appreciated. Quality food with a Sri Lankan flavor was served as per the request and on time. Will definitely visit there again for a short holiday

the hotel is clean,pleasant and quiet. It is isolated from pollution ,the world and noise which is really appreciated. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is good , the menu offered in the evening too. The view from our room (over the mountains) is stunning. Good value for money. Attention for the chilly the swimming pool is fresh.

Our stay was amazing !!! one of the best play we stay so far. The place is great, full of nature and the swimming pool is magical !! The host is incredibly nice and helpful. I definitely recommand to eat also at the restaurant, the dishes were delicious and yummy !! thanks again for this amazing stay, we loved it !!

A little piece of heaven awaits you at Villa Vajrapani. From start to finish the experience was awesome! From the breathtaking views, the attentive staff and the wholesome food. Nothing was too much for them to accommodate. The villa doesn't diappoint with its amentities. Just be warned you are travelling on an 130 year old road and it takes 40 minutes to travel the last 2.5kms. 9 acres of land allows you to walk around and take in the abundance of forestry, plants and wildlife. The staff also would do anything for us, cooking British fayre, to taking us to purchase fireworks. Loved every minute of our time with the Villa V team. Christmas 2023 will always be special to us. The little gifts also made a lovely touch when arricing at the airport and when leaving. It does get a little noisey when the wind howls just take earplugs for this. You can take tuk-tuks down into Kandy which is 30 minutes away. If you want peace and quiet you will find it at this villa! Thank you!

A large beautiful house with several rooms with a beautiful panoramic view in all rooms and from the roof. Situated on a small mountain away from the city centre, but easy to get to (or order delivery in Uber) The house also has a house manager who looks after the house and can cook for you for an extra fee.

The host Don is always available and helpful. Even before our arrival, we received a lot of information, pickup was arranged the Kandy railway station One of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. Check-in was easy and easy. The place was fantastic and everything was well organized Stunning view from each Super luxury smart room room. Excellent location. If you are searching for a place to relax in the middle of nature. And not too far from Kandy town. Wake up with the sound of birds singing. Many trekking options. Professional Spa treatments ... tasty food Great value for money. and friendly staff well trained. worth visiting. And one night is not enough at all !!!

Hotel located in the "jungle" above Kandy, with views of the lake and surrounding hills. The bedroom was very classy, super comfy mattress, large floor-to-ceiling windows, very stylish shower and bathroom (gray waxed concrete). Elegance on all floors in the decor. Classy welcome too. Breakfast at the level. Good value for money. I recommend it. 👍😎

Really nice stay in a quiet, relaxed hotel. The staff were friendly and it was super close to the lake, main roads, restaurants, etc. Just a quick tuk-tuk ride (or about 20 min walk to town). Very spacious and nice.

The place was so calm and quiet . It was a place made for relaxation. We enjoyed the stay very much. What we loved the most was the nature friendly environment . The place was cleaned and maintained well by the caretaker. We had all the facilities .
