Our guest studio is brand new and has a separate private outside, upstairs entrance. You will be a 5 minute drive from downtown Whitefish and staying in a beautiful, rural area of Whitefish. Our property rests on 5 acres and wildlife are frequent guests here. The guest studio has a very comfortable king sized bed with organic linen bedding. Black out shades are provided. Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Lower - Cozy and Quiet Studio

This is a small studio on the ground floor. It has a very comfy queen size bed with a remote controlled adjustable incline bed frame for adjusting your head and feet. It also has a nice work area or place to eat a meal. It has a well-stocked kitchenette and a nice bathroom with 3’ shower. The studio is perfect for two, but we can make an exception and add a cot for an extra person. Or you may bring your own infant bed.
