Apartment vacation rentals in Kalamaki Beach

Everything worked smoothly. The place is in a quiet area but still very close to the old town. Everything is new and clean, with complimentary extras like water, coffee pods, sweet snacks and a bottle of chilled white wine. We were there during a major Sahara dust storm and our car was rinsed clean the next morning!

A lovely clean apartment with a balcony and large bed. Lovely open plan space and some nice touches of a bottle of juice and water in the fridge on arrival, some small toiletries and an offer for clean towels mid stay! Also helpful to have a lift to the apartment. Only slight issue is that the shower head isn’t attached to the wall so you have to hold it whilst you shower but other than that it was a great stay and excellent value.

Très bel appartement fraîchement rénové. Bien situé en centre-ville et très bien équipé. La route est un peu bruyante la nuit malgré une isolation plutôt bonne. John est très réactif et chaleureux

Everything was just perfect! The detailed description how to get to the place, the location close to the old harbor and city center and the amazing apartment itself. Nikos was available at all times to give recommendations for food and discovering Heraklion. It was amazing. Hands down best host I ever had on AirBnb.

Traumhafte Unterkunft direkt am Meer mit privatem Zugang und wunderschönem Außenbereich. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt! Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und selbst gebackenen Kuchen 🥰 Artemis hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben! Das Apartment wurde sogar nochmal geputzt und wir haben neue Handtücher bekommen nach 2 Tagen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

Wirklich geniale Wohnung mit Sicht auf das Meer und Strand. Wir waren morgens und abends immer auf dem Balkon. Auch zum schwimmen im Meer genial. Gut gelegen, immer freie Parkplätze. Super Lage für uns, da wir mit dem Auto Ausflüge unternahmen. Wir würden diese Wohnung gleich wieder buchen bei einem weiteren Kreta Urlaub. Danke George, es war toll :-)

Manolis was friendly, responsive and available. The location in Atsipopoulo was close to RETHIMNO - a very short drive by car. However, the residence was very walkable to many different things you might need or want. A bakery right next-door, a well stocked and friendly supermarket across the parking lot, many different kinds of stores and restaurants a very short walk away. Each room has a balcony and there’s a clean pool in the courtyard. It was too cold to enjoy in April but was still nice to have. Would recommend.

We spent four weeks here. Eleni and her mother are super hostesses. They were quick to respond to questions or issues. The apartment is well equipped, in a quiet location. Cars are parked in the cul de sac, but only pedestrians have access to the throughway. The flat is within a two minute walk to the historical, mostly pedestrian center, within the Venetian city walls. Nearby there are churches, museums, parks, restaurants, cafes, and a bustling nightlife. Supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, bus lines, and the beautiful port are all within minutes of the apartment. If you are visiting Heraklion this is where you will want to stay.

Olga and his husband give us a great welcoming, the appartement is clean and well places. I do recommand to stay in Chryso appartement !

We had a great stay! The appartment is small, but has everything you need. We received great recommendations from Maria and loved the pastries from Costa's bakery! Some restaurants, a supermarket and the beach are in walking distance. If you have a rental, it's easy to find a parkingspot close to the appartment.

For the money we paid, we couldn't ask for more. Heraklion is my home town and finding my way round wasn't going to be an issue, but even if I was an unaware foreigner on his first visit there I wouldn't be troubled whatsoever. George was always available on the phone and helpful. The studio was spotless and functional as quoted in the advert. The immersion heater would heat the water within minutes, while the air-condition was handy. The main advantage of this place though is its location: there is everything you need right at your feet and if you are the pedantic kind of tourist the choice laid out in front of you will put your mind to rest. Within less than half a mile radius you have more bars, cafeterias, restaurants and shops your palate can handle. Only question is... do you know where you are going? I am Greek, so I do. Nous avons passé un séjour dans le White appartement ! Il est situé à l’arrière du bâtiment principal de la résidence Diamanti. Il y a d’un côté l’appartement et à l’extérieur la cuisine d’été et le spa accessibles par une petite porte. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la cuisine d’été car le temps n’était pas au rdv … mais le spa était top 👍 et l’appartement très fonctionnel avait une Clim réversible que nous avons apprécié ! C’était vraiment paisible ☺️ Nikos a été très réactif à nos demandes et nous a donné de bons conseils sur les enivrons et des contacts utiles. Lygaria est vraiment une petite station balnéaire avec tout ce qu’il faut sur place et calme. Notre séjour était super agréable 👍 Je recommande vivement ! Merci 🙏

Evangelos has a beautiful home. Exactly as described and very modern. The whirl pool was a highlight and of course the beautiful view from the terrace. The village of Sellia is very peaceful and close to many beaches. It has a small supermarket and great local restaurants. Yangos was especially a very good host. Had lots of local places for restaurants to recommend and also great recommendations for beaches. He was very responsive throughout our trip and had great communication. We were very happy with our stay overall and would like to stay here again someday!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Katerina. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und der Garten mit Whirlpool ist wirklich toll. Ihre Eltern sind auch sehr nette Leute die uns immer wieder frisches Obst und andere Kleinigkeiten vorbei gebracht haben. Die Wohnung ist nur zu empfehlen und von der Lage her sehr gut!

Awesome place - Jacuzzi helps! Bed is nice and comfy, aircon works nicely and cooker and fridge is nice. It’s down the road from town a bus ride away. Toilet and shower is wetroom is nice. You have a great view of beach from the north side balcony and nice moon lit view of from the south side (whilst in the jacuzzi). It’s a good place to get transport links from the city (buses are all over the place). Stelios was very responsive and helpful with recommendations With restaurants and places to find a drink. Deffo would come back 10/10 🇬🇧🇬🇷

Kostas ist wirklich ein super netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er hat uns im Vorhinein darüber informiert wie die aktuellen Straßenbedingungen sind und war generell immer für jede Frage offen. Die Unterkunft war super sauber und wurde jeden Tag auf Wunsch gereinigt. Alles wirklich super sauber und super organisiert. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!

I was very pleased that the host greeted me personally at the entrance to the town and showed me the apartment and explained everything in detail. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, had all the amenities (as in the photos), the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is very beautiful and clean, the bedding is fresh and fragrant, as are the towels. Very comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms. And of course the hot tube where you can relax and unwind in the evening. Nearby there is a small shop and a pastry shop and taverns with very good food. I highly recommend this apartment and the hosts. An ideal place to visit both the north and the south of the island.
