Apartment vacation rentals in Kalamaki Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was exactly as described, felt like home and had all the amenities that we were looking for. Aggela was a very friendly and responsive host. Would stay again!

This vacation was very special, as we were also able to enjoy the unique hospitality of our landlord. And a very competent, friendly, warm and always responsive contact person (Bärbel) spoke perfect German. The place was phenomenal.

Lovely apartment villa, walking distance from the beach. Well furnished and very clean. The hosts where always really responsive and on hand. We where travelling with a baby and the place had a cot and high chair. The pool was lovely although due to the time of year we didn't use it that often. Lovely sundeck to sit on and look at the Seaview. Also equipped with beach umbrella and mats which is really useful! Close to the amenities that Kalamaki offers - supermarket, restaurants etc. but is a slightly quieter area, which was nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Niko’s apartment in Ligaria! The location is absolutely perfect—right on the water, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the sound of the waves on the balcony with a coffee was such a treat. Nikos was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we had a question about the hot tub, he came by personally to make sure everything was comfortable for us. He also went out of his way to provide thoughtful amenities for our baby, including a crib, high chair, and baby bath, which made traveling with a toddler so much easier. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a family stay. We felt truly welcomed and well cared for. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing seaside escape- especially for families with young children!

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

Very nice studio overlooking the sea and mountains. There is another studio for rent in the same house right next door and an apartment downstairs. The landlady is very nice and made sure we didn't miss anything. The place was very clean and you can walk to the beach, or to the taverns in the village. However, a car is an advantage (parking right in front of the house).

We stayed only a couple of days, but were wishing we were able to stay longer. The accommodations are as described, very cosy and quiet place to relax. The host was absolutely lovely, super friendly and made us feel very welcomed ! We enjoyed being steps from the beach and great restaurants, while also being well situated to drive nearby to explore other towns and beaches. This spot was everything we were looking for and more:) we can’t wait to come back !

The place was unique in its location. Around the apartment, you can enjoy the wide sea view on the terrace. In addition, the apartment is really equipped with all the amenities, so you feel right at home. Particularly noteworthy were the attentions that you receive at the beginning of the stay. Thanks to this Airbnb, we had a wonderful vacation and were able to completely relax and enjoy the sea. Finally, it should be said that this apartment was one of the best accommodations we have ever been to.

Our stay was amazing! The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equipped and above all… the jacuzzi was a real plus! Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Crete. A huge thank you to our host, who was exceptionally kind. Always available, responsive and ready to help at any time, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it🤩!

Elena is a nice and accommodating hostess. We were able to contact her at any time, received feedback very quickly and she inquired about our well-being in the accommodation. The place is very clean, well equipped and you have your privacy. It looks exactly like the pictures. The property is very quiet. You need a car to do activities. We can only recommend the place and Elena as a host! ☺️

We enjoyed the place very much. Lovely terrace, nice garden with different areas to relax, a lovely cat which belongs to the house. Note that the area is like a village where you can hear animals like sheeps, horses, dogs and chicken. We were not disturbed at all. It is nature, the view is fantastic towards the mountains. As we are pretty much in love with Pitsidia it was a dream to be a few footprints away from the centre of the village to go out for a drink. Please visit Oniro for a fantastic breakfast, Green Kukunari (for vegan great Soulfood, we are not vegans but it's worth it!), for ladies shopping stop go to Alchemia (jewellry, clothes and nice chat with Justyna) and our lovely host Nikos gave the very best restaurant recommendation: Vrachos Taverna, awesome place for fish and a stunning view towards the bay of Kommos beach. Nikos, thank you very much for everything, honestly!

We highly recommend the property. It is clean and well looked after. The location is great within easy walking distance of the centre of the City and all it offers. It is also on one of the main routes round the City which means if you have a car you do not have to deal with narrow, city centre roads. We hired a car and parked in the car part next to the apartment which was really convenient and reasonably priced. The down side to the location is that there is a lot of traffic noise when sitting on the balcony but that is to be expected. Once you shut the doors it is very quiet inside. There is a quiet air-conditioning unit in the bedroom which was great given we had some unseasonably high temperatures while we were there. Manos & Klelia where great at responding to any questions we had, If we were to Heraklion we who try and stay there again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Giannis was an excellent host. He welcomed us with a warm pastry, fresh fruits, wine and bottled water. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We had a car and having our own parking space was fantastic. We traveled to different areas of the island and it was a convenient home base. Giannis gave us several recommendations from restaurants to beautiful beaches, and they were all great. We especially enjoyed the terrace. It has a beautiful view of the sea and it is very peaceful. We watched the sunrise a few mornings and it was breathtaking. A highlight of the stay was Hamlet, Giannis dog! He was there to welcome us and visited us daily. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a beautiful place and you won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

We stayed three nights and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is great and the village is great. Michalis' recommendations are great, and we can only recommend going out for dinner and also eating ice cream! In addition, it is not far to the coast and popular destinations such as Matala are easily accessible by car. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Very nice stay! The hot tub was very nice and private. Χριστινα was very sweet and gave us recommendations for where to eat and even brought us fresh watermelon. We really enjoyed our time here!

great place, great for a relaxing weekend. not close enough to the beach to walk, but it is easy and fairly cheap to get a taxi. we went during the off season, but it was still plenty warm and enjoyable

Evangelos has a beautiful home. Exactly as described and very modern. The whirl pool was a highlight and of course the beautiful view from the terrace. The village of Sellia is very peaceful and close to many beaches. It has a small supermarket and great local restaurants. Yangos was especially a very good host. Had lots of local places for restaurants to recommend and also great recommendations for beaches. He was very responsive throughout our trip and had great communication. We were very happy with our stay overall and would like to stay here again someday!

We had a wonderful stay at Katerina's apartment. The apartment has everything you need and the garden with hot tub is really great. Her parents are also very nice people who always brought us fresh fruit and other small things. The apartment is highly recommended and very good in terms of location!

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

This was our first holiday abroad in over 10 years and first for our daughter (9 yoa) and it was a perfect stay! We love Rethymno, especially the old town and the location of the suites was perfect for us. The people of the town are super friendly and kind, and especially so to children, which is lovely. There are many amazing places to eat, drink and enjoy on the doorstep. Athina was an incredible, kind and very helpful host. She arranged our airport transfers and even a late check out with short notice. The apartment was incredibly clean and airy, with air con, great facilities and lovely sofa bed, we felt very comfortable and at home. The yard area and pool were a great addition to the suites and we used it daily. Thank you so much, we hope to stay again in the future!
