Great stay with my family. Paul was always so helpful, and responsive! The house itself was stunning, exactly what was described. Hot tub and out house was fab. Gorgeous scenery. So relaxing. Easy to find and drive way to fit many cars. We have booked up to return next year for another family trip! Thank you so much Paul! :)

My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

The proximity to the city centre was amazing. We had a rental and driving was quick. Please note there are 3 flights of stairs so keep that in mind when packing your luggage as there is no lift in the building. The check in and out process was super easy and Diana was very responsive to any questions we had, including accommodating an early check in, which was incredibly appreciated coming off a transatlantic overnight flight. The pictures are very representative of the unit and it was super clean. Thank you for hosting us Diana. We enjoyed our stay.

We had such a nice relaxing stay in the captain’s rest. The surrounds are stunning, plenty of walks to do from the doorstep, and so nice being greeted by the dogs and chickens. If we’re back in the area again in the future we’ll definitely come back to stay.

The apartment was lovely and Emma was a great host. There was an issue that I did need to contact her about upon arrival, although it should be noted that it was totally unforeseen and not a problem with the property in any way. Emma responded immediately, and came straight round to sort it out. I think the efficiency and proactivity with which she resolved that issue tells you everything you need to know. Drymen was a great location to choose to base ourselves - several good pubs with eating options, a lovely bakery (whose staff even lent my daughters Halloween costumes) and an independent beer shop that kept me in stout every evening. All walkable from the property. Would highly-recommend.

Just to say that we all slept really well here- and enjoyed the wood burner a lot. The heating was really efficient also and that was much appreciated with having our kids with us. We had to edit our booking dates last minute and Ross was gracious around our changes; financially and in his communication. We’ll be back x

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oakbank cottage. Everything was better than expected. Comfortable, clean & cosy. It was the perfect getaway for our family. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy & the lounge was so cosy with the log burning stove. Beautifully decorated throughout. The garden area was beautiful even in the winter. Hot tub and sauna were luxurious additions
