Vacation rentals with a kayak in Jonkoping County

We had a very nice nine day stay at this cottage and were able to enjoy the summer in Sweden. The house is bordered by forest from one side, on the other side is the property of the landlords. Nevertheless, it is not very visible (higher location) and we had our privacy. I liked not being completely secluded in the forest. The nearest shopping in Mariannelund is about 15 minutes away by car. Here we got everything we needed. A beautiful swimming spot (non-swimmer area, toilet) is also not far away. The forest is beautiful. We can recommend a hike to the Övrakulla Sevedeleden observation deck. The view is breathtaking. Vimmerby and the great Astrid Lindgren world is only a 30 minute drive. We found the house very clean and tidy. The kitchen is super equipped. We had a great time with our children (5 and 7 years).

We spent one perfect summer week in the house, mostly on the very beautiful big wooden terrace having a lot of comfortable furniture and with an amazing view over the lake. When the evening got colder we could stay „outside“ in the winter garden for our dinner. The lake is lovely and perfect for swimming, you only have to walk a little bit on a sandy ground until you get into deeper water. It is some kind of „public“ beach but we have only seen one other person there during our stay. We also used the bikes for small tours around the location, or enjoyed the woods behind the house for hiking. A really lovely area if you like nature. The communication with Cecilia was always very easy and she answered promptly. Many thanks for enabling us this wonderful stay!

We felt very comfortable in Ewa's villa. Everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail - wonderful. The spacious house is beautifully situated on the lake. We were often able to go canoeing. There is a great garden with many seats to relax. We enjoyed the time very much. Ewa is really very nice and helpful.

Typically Swedish! Beautiful house with everything you need for a nice time! No frills. Easy to reach and beautiful location on Bolmen! Just a few meters to Bolmen. Slipping our boat in a few meters away without problems. We will come back when it's a little warmer to try our fishing luck at Bolmen again. Unfortunately, we were a little too late for this year! Nevertheless, thanks to the sauna and fireplace, a great and relaxing stay!

The holidays on Lake Bolmen were wonderful. We were surprised that the owners have their house right next to the cottage, but it was not disturbing. Martin and the family are very kind, give information about the country and people. The house is very nice, it is lovingly and practically furnished. Everything is clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The location is gorgeous. We used the rowing boat and kayak and often went to the lake, or we sat on the terrace overlooking the lake. You can relax wonderfully here.

The house is situated right next to the river with beautiful views. Nice rooms, well equipped with a large Smart-TV, nice furniture, a large kitchen and a nice terrace. Good mix between traditional Swedish and modern.

Staying at Kristina's house allowed us to slow down immediately. Located directly on the lake, with a quiet environment that we have rarely seen. Here we were able to relax and vacation. The house is large, has a very well equipped kitchen, in the living area there are even German books for young to old and in the carport there are a lot of things to discover that tempt you to play or do things. We spent two weeks in August with our two children in Gunilla's beautiful house and had a great time. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the great garden, the beautiful terrace and above all the wonderful lake. It's just a few steps to swim. The children could play in nature without hesitation and it was wonderfully quiet and relaxed overall. We loved it and would definitely come back.

Cathrine and Kenth share their little paradise with you. You can feel right at home from the start. The house is comfortably furnished, at the top of the hill you always get the sun. This is very cozy !!!

We stayed here over Christmas and New Year and felt very comfortable. The house is far from every hustle and bustle and you really have your peace and quiet here. The amenities are exactly as described. The place is also suitable for Worcation. The internet connection is completely sufficient with over 100MBit.

A fantastic house in the woods by the lake, which lacked nothing in comfort. With the small sauna, we had a very cozy time even on the only rainy day. The rest of the time there were many other ways to make yourself comfortable around the house or inside, to lie in the sun or to use the lake: swimming, rowboat or canoeing. The forest is also very, very nice for a walk. Unfortunately, we were only there for a week, but would also like to come back for two. Thanks Ann!

The house is beautifully situated on a hillside away from the hustle and bustle and secluded from the nearest major town. The house is great and beautifully furnished and has everything you need. It has a huge garden and lots of toys for children. Our girls were never bored! It's a short walk down to the lake and up to the cape. Beautiful place! We enjoyed staying there very much, and with a little driving time you can make nice excursions in the area, but actually it invites you to chill and bathe there in the idyll! Highly recommended, we didn't want to leave.

Great stay! There were four of us for five days and the house had everything we needed. While there's not much space, it's all very practical, worked fine, and was cozy. The location is great! Right next to the lake and in the middle of nature. Most beautiful lake views from the house. We fished and took long walks in the woods - great! Communication with the host went well and completely smooth and very helpful. THANK YOU - highly recommend and we would love to come again.

Great place! Met all our requirements beyond expectations. Located very nicely secluded surrounded by beautiful nature. Magical wooden deck to enjoy the spring sun on and a fireplace that warmed wonderfully during the cold evenings. Would recommend.

Amazing stay over christmas. We had the perfect family christmas holiday and Marc’s cozy place was surprisingly well equipped for all of our needs for 8 people and a christmas eve feast.

The lake house is stunning. The sunsets and nature, accessories and decor create an unforgettable atmosphere. Eliasabeth is very kind and takes care of everything. It was a good fit for us as a family of 5. We especially enjoyed the sup and the canoe tours on the lake.
