Farmstay vacation rentals in Jonkoping County

We had a very nice week in Bart's Villa Kunterbunt. Our 2-year-old son loved the garden and the play area in the attic with play kitchen and wooden train. The house is small but well suited for 3 people. There was a baby travel bed for our son, as he was still too small to sleep in the alcove. Bart was very kind and helpful, phoned us before arrival and explained everything to us. The house is a bit lonely, there are only a few neighboring houses. Nearby there is a lake with a beautiful swimming area, it is 15 minutes to Eksjö and an elk park, and about 50 minutes to Vinmerby, Katthult and Bullerbyn. We will be happy to come back!

We arrived late and left early. We had a good dialogue with the hosts before arrival. They always responded very quickly when we had any questions. The apartment was clean and fresh and met our expectations. Thank you so much for us!

We visited Skälsnäs Gård for Easter with our two children of 1 and 4, and we had a great time. We haven't lived in a house with so much soul before, and we felt so comfortable. It's the perfect getaway for kids who love to play, both inside and out. The nature is very beautiful and the surroundings were quiet and idyllic. The house is older, but the kitchen and bathroom are equipped with modern amenities, and it was easy to cook for the family. Vaxjo is the main town nearby and it takes about 30 min by car. Cozy town with good bakeries and cafes. Since there are no shopping opportunities close by, we recommend making a meal plan so you don't have to shop every day. There is a water park (Actic) that our kids loved and we visited twice. The place is easy to find and the host was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We will definitely come back.

The place is magical, with its lovely location at the end of the lake. We stayed 8 and it was no problem as the apartment is so big and practically planned. THE SPA room with bath, shower and large sauna is absolutely amazing. In addition, there was an ice maker👍

We were a group of 10 people, 7 adults and 3 teenagers. A very nice stay in Tony's nice house, everything was great!

The stay in Gränna was great. Ola and Lina are very friendly hosts. Unfortunately, we didn't see Ola. Lina helped us with questions. They work in a hotel where we had the opportunity to park and enjoy a delicious dinner. There was also the possibility to have breakfast there, which we did not use. There were three of us in the accommodation and there was more than enough room. The kitchen invites you to cook. There is also a large garden with fruit trees. The washing worked great. The living room invites you to cozy TV evenings. There are plenty of activities around Gränna. However, you are dependent on a car. There is public transport, but by car you are more flexible. We would go back to Ola and Lina's place!

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. Really a great location! So cozy with sauna and ice bath at night. Then to wake up with horses running just outside the kitchen window. 😍

We had a really nice stay at Hanna's place. So cozy with cats, dogs and horses around the cabin. It's an older cabin, but we think that's part of the charm of a Swedish cabin. Lovely hot bath and good beds, cozy rooms. Hanna was quick to respond if we had any questions, she was very hospitable and friendly ☺️

The four of us had a very nice week here. The vacation home is very cozy as described and you have everything you need. Communication and check-in went smoothly. The cottage is located in a quiet peaceful area by the forest, where you can go for a nice walk and also get to Gothenburg by car within an hour. We really enjoyed the week here and would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a relaxing vacation in Swedish nature!

Super cozy place in idyllic Swedish surroundings. Lovely with lots of room for kids and play. Everything worked exactly as it should and Petter was very welcoming and quick to respond. The best recommendations from here!

Maria was a wonderful host, always quick to respond and very kind and flexible. On arrival there was a fire burning in the stove and the house was warm and cozy. Maria also topped up our firewood throughout our stay. The beds we used were comfortable and it was very nice to have towels and sheets included and to not have to clean before we left. We hope to return some day in the summertime!

Unique nature house! Very plenty of space and hanging areas. The view is absolutely phenomenal.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in a lovingly and thoughtfully furnished cottage, where we lacked nothing. We had the perfect Sweden feeling. The animals right outside the front door, such as calves, sheep and chickens, complemented the rural coziness very well. The hosts were always available and helped immediately with any questions! We totally enjoyed it.

Lovely, lovely house in quiet surroundings. The house has everything you need. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely living room, lovely bedrooms with good beds, a lot of games for the family, yes everything, for you to have a wonderful family holiday. The house is close to Bulderby, where “All of us children in Bulderby” are busy, and also close to Katthult, where “Emil from Lønneberg is occupied. Super cozy! We also took a day to Astrid Lindgren's World, which in the finest way reproduced fragments of her great stories in the form of plays and small houses. And if you're lucky, the house is also in an area with lots of moose, wild boar and crown game. All in all, a great place, which is held by Jan and Marianne - amazingly sweet and welcoming hosts.
