If you are going to Yellowknife to see the Aurora Borealis, go dog sledding, check out the boreal forest, or just to hang out and relax, this is the perfect place to stay. It is clean, roomy, and quiet. It has a great deck that affords wonderful views. The neighborhood is nice and walkable and located in a great part of town to start your adventures. This is not a negative at all, but just information: there are a few steps to get to the door and a few inside. Not many, but if you have mobility issues, that is a consideration. The apartment was well stocked with essential supplies and it has awesome artwork throughout. The two bedrooms are far enough apart from each other so that there is privacy for each one (one is en suite and the other has a bathroom nearby). The kitchen is easy to cook in, with lots of counter space. Tamar provided good information and answered my questions promptly. Check in instructions were clear. In case you can’t tell, I highly recommend this place!

George’s place was perfect. On the shores of the frozen Great Slave Lake with a large top floor balcony and facing the warm afternoon sun it was the perfect place to stay. We saw the Aurora on almost every night from our own balcony. Restaurants and bars all close by. The Old Town is definitely the place to stay rather than the downtown hotels. I will definitely be coming back and anyone wanting to see the Aurora and enjoy Yellowknife should seriously consider staying here. It was perfect. Thanks George
