Vacation rentals with lake access in Jo Daviess County

My friends and i had an amazing time! The house was very clean! We’re a busy bunch and there was so much for us to do at the house! The location was perfect everything around us was no longer than 10 mins. Lisa was very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay again it was a blast!

You must stay here when visiting Galena and The Territories. Such great hosts. Very quick to respond and the property was both peaceful and fun at the same time. Highly recommend!

Exceeded our expectations. Having 2 toddlers with our group, the kids' playroom along with the nursery was a blessing. We also took advantage of our access to the Owners Club and swam in the pools, played ping pong, etc. We cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen was very well stocked with what we needed. We used the grill, the hot tub, the firepit, the gameroom, and the movie room. Everything worked well and was clean. Many of our group mentioned how comfortable the beds were. A very enjoyable time and we hope to return.

Great outdoor spaces that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Access to golf, Owner’s Club, walkable areas made the visit even more pleasant.

Very nice place to stay, everything we needed and great location. Plan to return next year.

Stayed here with a group of ladies and absolutely loved the accommodations. The house has everything you may need! Looking forward to possibly coming back as a family trip!

The townhouse was great! We had plenty of space for our dog and two sons. The walking paths were great and there was something for all of us to do.

The room was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This place is awesome! We came with our baby and dog and it was perfect for all of us. Place was the perfect size for us and had an everything we needed. Great location close to downtown Galena and other activities. Comfortable bed and it was great to have 2 bathrooms!

The house was amazing! Not only did it accommodate the whole family but it had a great dining room/kitchen to allow us to cook breakfast and relax with some coffee before heading into town. It's in a great location and has a perk of the Taphouse right below it (can you say perfect for late night beers?!) Miss Kitty went above with amenities and overall aesthetics of the house. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a larger house in Galena.

Our stay was great! We loved the location and being able to access amenities at Eagle Ridge. The condo was clean and accurately described. We would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed staying here. The peace and serenity of it all was most delightful. The place was beautiful and well kept and the host was great!

Love serenity woods! Although it is within the block of homes in the settlement, it’s at the end with a private backyard. Very clean and decorated nicely. Parking is across from the home in a small parking lot. Very quiet at night. Although the Galena balloon race was going on (balloons didn’t end up going up but that’s fine it was way too windy!!) even going to the pool during a Saturday at 90, it was crowded but big enough that it was still so nice. The amenities that come with staying here are really the best. Loved the 2 full bathrooms, the especially with a kid. We loved our stay and will be back.

What an adorable cozy cottage! Our family of 4 loved it. It was a pleasant surprise to discover toys and activities for the kids when we arrived. We stayed during the Hot Air Balloon Race weekend and this was a great location to it. Downtown Galena took about 13 minutes to get to. Cottage was clean and comfy. We also went to the pool as part of the amenities and the kids had a great time! Thank you so much!

Stayed for a long weekend with three friends! Such a wonderful quiet and cozy place to stay! Nancy was very responsive and friendly! The house was clean and the natural light was so wonderful. Would definitely like to stay at the Piccolo House again!

The house was comfortable, clean, and in a beautiful location! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. We enjoyed the walking paths nearby. Downtown Galena is an easy 10-minute drive, and the owner’s club is about a mile away. We had an issue with one of the keycards and the renter was very responsive and replied to our email almost immediately. We would definitely stay there again the next time we’re in Galena!

This little cottage was absolutely adorable and perfect for our girls trip. Host has thought of all the amenities - such as extra fans/pillows/mattress toppers/towels. A little drive from downtown Galena, but area felt very safe, very close to Thunder Bay falls. We had 6 girls stay - and it did get a little tight, but ultimately worked out well for our group. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

The hosts were extremely responsive and kind. The cottage was so lovely and perfect for a group of 4. We would return!
