“Amazing stay. A nice little cabin in a teeny-tiny village on a mountain top. Photos don't do justice to how beautiful this place is! The view of snowcapped mountains and the valley from our breakfast tabel was literally breathtaking. Ah, the serenity... there was no noise except birds chirping and a stream way down in the valley. This was our first time seeing the snow and let me tell you the experience was, and I'm not exaggerating, heavenly!! We went crazy playing in thestar level of hospitality. The hosts were very welcoming and looked after us like a member of their family. snow. The food was home cooked and so great. The next meal or snack or tea was ready even before we were hungry. And darling Nobu stole our hearts! That puppy was always with us when we went for walks and wanted to play with us all the time. Would recommend this house in any season any time!”
It's a all wooden property in traditional Himachali style. Situated among thick cedar forest and apple orchard, JungleBook hostel is an experimental stay where guests can be their true one self. Indulge in your hobbies, bring out the artist in you. Relax, Rejuvinate and soak in a true cultural, natural experience.
“A great find. If you love isolation and want to stay in the above of the nature then this is the perfect place. I was solo travelling for a month and wanted some isolation and this was the place to be. Please note that this property is 3kms away from Jibhi in a village called Myar. Please confirm with Sunny (who is always helpful) about they way to reach. It's a very minor hike to the property but well worth it. Sunny and his team of care takers made the best of my time with great home cooked food. I would definitely suggest this place and would like to stay again for a longer time. :)”
Welcome! My place is near Giyaghi, a small village on the way to Jalori Pass. Built with stone and wood with views of the forest all around and a veranda for relaxing. You will love my place, for its natural ambience, the outdoor space, a bonfire pit, home cooked food and a comfortable bed. It is good for couples, families and solo adventurers. Just a note on food. We serve all food and drinks and you won't be disappointed with the freshness, local content, cleanliness, presentation and of course taste. We need notice for preparation because our food is prepared fresh. , specially if you require non-veg (local river fish, chicken or mutton). Food is costed per item separate to accommodation. You should budget at least around 800 rps per day per person for food and drinks. Consider trying the local traditional 'siddhu'...a kind of large dumpling filled with sabje made often with crushed walnuts, or ganga seeds, or apricot kernels etc. 'Wayward Inn' is listed on google maps so if you are self-driving/driven, you can easily plan your trip through that on-line application. If you are coming by bus from Delhi, the get-off point is Aut. From there I can arrange a taxi to Wayward Inn (cost around 1400 rps) or you can proceed by local bus to Banjar and then change for the last 11 km to Wayward (1 km further than the village of Giyaghi). If you are coming from Kullu/Manali direction, a bus from Bhuntar will go to Banjar.
“The place is located a few kilometres from Jibhi. It's a beautiful cottage and Beli's staff is equipped to handle all your requests. The food is brilliant and always fresh. Beli knows about all nearby places and will be very helpful in helping you plan any adventure on your mind. Whether you are going for just a chill time or some adventure or find solace, Beli can arrange everything. We had nothing planned out but Beli ensured we had an amazing time and took us to beautiful places nearby. If you are tired there is an amazing open garden area for relaxing bone fire. The treks are not very difficult and offer a great view of the pass.”
