GLOWS - unique experience

New spacious boutique studio apartment in the Jewish quarter of the old city of JerusalemWalking distance from the Western Wall, Temple mount, Christian quarter, Mamila mall and downtown Jerusalem. With all the necessities needed while traveling - A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

What guests are saying:

“This is a really unique place - we loved staying here in the heart of the old town. Some websites advise not to stay in the old town as it’s quiet once the stalls close - as this place is literally 2 minute walk from the western wall it’s a busy enough area that we were never worried 5 mins from Jaffa gate which has restaurants open all night. We’d definitely stay here again as it was an amazing experience. It’s really easy to find - through Jaffa gate, walk straight down the market street and after 2-300m or so it’s on the right. There are some cafes and take-away places nearby; we went to the market during the day and self-catered in the evenings. The kitchen is limited in that it only has a small oven, no stovetop, but it was fine. Being so close to the major attractions in Jerusalem is amazing. If you’ve come here with a rental car, there is free parking (assuming you have a tram ticket) a 10 minute tram ride away at Ammunition Hill. It’s really easy to take the tram. This is apparently the only park and ride car park open on the Sabbath - the barrier was open and we just drove out having left the car there for 3 days. There didn’t seem to be a problem leaving the car, we checked with the chap on the gate, although it was empty when we arrived to collect it... Don’t take a taxi from inside Jaffa gate as they told us they wouldn’t use the meter. We walked outside and found a reputable taxi who immediately said (without us asking) that it’d be on the meter.”

Great place near Mamila / Old city

Great place near Mamila / Old city

very beautiful apartment near Mamila and Old city, a walk distance from every place in City Center Jerusalem!

What guests are saying:

“We had a fantastic stay at Gilbert's place based on three things (1) the hospitality displayed by Gilbert (2) the location of the flat and (3) the quality of the flat itself. Gilbert met us at the apartment and gave us a lot of tips for our stay in Jerusalem. He also was thoughtful in providing a bottle of wine to welcome us and a fridge stocked with water and soda. We also appreciated that he had left us several umbrellas which came in very useful as it rained off and on during our stay. Gilbert also helped arrange a taxi for us to visit Bethlehem and MarSaba (a highly recommended trip). In the end, the taxi driver charged us above the arranged fare, but when Gilbert found out about this poor behavior the next day, he insisted on making up the overcharge himself and later called the taxi driver to complain and ensure that he returned the overcharge. There are few finer examples of a host caring for his guests. On to the second point, the flat is located right outside the old city and is very convenient to walk there as well as to the light rail station and the bars/restaurants of Zion square. Finally, the flat is clean and comfortable and filled with light. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay in Jerusalem.”
