Close to cities such as Bruges and Ostend, nice for Sunday shopping and cultural experience. Ghent is also accessible in 45 minutes by car. Also nice for hiking and cycling along beautifully marked routes in the hinterland. Very nice base to experience a few stress-free days and combine culture and shopping.
