The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

We had a great stay at the place. The large garden and the great views of the bay of Heraklion were amazing. The house itself was a little smaller than expected, especially with two almost adult children. The surfaces of the kitchen could have been cleaner and the dishwasher was unfortunately broken. These were the only criticisms. Jannis took care of us touchingly and contacted us again and again. The house is fantastically located at the end of a dead end and Google does not know the way there, but the directions from Jannis and Evi are perfect. A small tip: a car is mandatory! All in all it was a great holiday.

We had a great time at the Airbnb. The owner had taken care of the transfer from the airport and at the location we were greeted for our check-in. The house is exactly the same as in the pictures, clean and everything we needed was there! The outside area was our favourite and we enjoyed the pool 7 days straight. There are many things to do on the island but we really needed to chill and relax and this house was perfect for that. It was less than 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and the route was well lit by street lights. The owner brought us delicious food on multiple occasions, pasta, pastries and pizza. Honestly, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Crete, I would highly recommend booking this place. I am already thinking about coming back with my parents. Thanks again for taking such good care of us!

A lovely week spent at the villa for our family holiday. The villa is a short drive from Milatos and would highly recommend the taverna No Name. A car is essential as nowhere is walkable, especially in the heat. Crete is a large island, so we were confined to the east of the island to explore. We visited Elounda, Plaka beach for snorkelling and Spinalonga, as well as the water park. The villa is comfortable, set on 3 floors. The outside space is fantastic and grounds kept beautifully. Audrey and her team were very responsive to our queries and very attentive. They were also able to assist us with car hire. Would recommend.

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

Massimo and Despina are very friendly hosts. We can fully recommend this beautiful place. The apartment has everything you need, plus a fantastic view. The tranquility, nature and surroundings contributed to our relaxing holiday.

Very private, no noise from neighbors. We hardly heard any noise from the traffic as the apartment is not directly on the road. We stayed for a week and spent much time on the incredible balcony: you can always find a space in the shade there. We loved the Galini beach nearby. only downside is that you have to walk for 200 meters along the road, as there is no footpath. There is a private beach closer by, but not everyone will be willing to climb down. It's doable for most people, but it is no walk in the park. If you like solitude, or if the Galini beach is too crowded, then certainly try to go the private beach. The WiFi in the apartment and on the balcony is good enough to stream video to one laptop. We had a tremendous time and certainly will come back some time in the future

Nikos is the most friendly person in the world. He answered fast, was superhelpful and took me even to the airport by his car. I am so grateful for everything and recommend his place and him with best intentions. Kaupo Saue

We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation! The highlight was definitely the beautiful terrace with its stunning sea view – the perfect spot to start or end the day. The location is also excellent, with many lovely restaurants within walking distance, which we truly appreciated. It was also a great base for exploring the area by car. The designated parking spot is about 200–300 meters away – during our stay, there was always something available, so it worked out just fine. All in all, a wonderful place that we would happily recommend!

Absolutely lovely space. Located on a hillside with a beautiful view of the town below and the mountains in the distance. The host was extremely responsive and gave amazing recommendations for activities around town. It’s hard to list individual things because absolutely everything was perfect. Next time we return to Sitia, I would love to stay here again.

Stella's Home was the most positive Airbnb experience I've ever had (and I've had some really lovely ones). The place is beautiful and the views are some of the best I've ever seen with the beach being only a 6 minute walk away. Stella was also an exceptional host. She stocked the fridge with some complementary groceries which made for a really positive start to our trip, especially after a day of traveling. It was also one of the most thoughtful things a host has done for one of my stays. Stella was also very communicative, checking in to make sure everything was going well for us and if we needed anything. The hot tub was amazing, the house was spotless and comfortable, the description of the space completely accurate. 5 days was not enough for us here and if I ever make it back to Crete, I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Yannis was an extremely friendly and helpful host, making us feel right at home and had a lot of helpful tips on the area. The house is very peaceful and spacious and extremely close to the sea. Thank you for having us!

The is a family house, simple, pleasent and authentic. The natural surroundings are amazing. The silence is incredible. Meni and Andreas, the owners, are very nice people and we felt the love they invested in every detail. Thanks 🙏

We really enjoyed our stay at Manos's house. His mom lived right next to us, and we got help with everything from him. We toured all of Crete with the rental car. The beach near the house is clean, pleasant, and sandy.

When you are 20 steps from the waterfront and a choice of loveley taverna's, there is not much more you could whish for. Oded's place is lovely and we loved sitting in front of it and watch the world go by.

We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We just liked everything and we felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is much better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded right away. She has arranged a meeting place with us. There, she was already waiting for us🙏. We really want to come back, there is still so much to discover in eastern Crete. Many thanks, dear Despina and best regards to your mom ❤️

We were a little worried about staying at Guy’s place since it didn’t have any reviews. Since it was so heavily discounted for the location and the property we decided to go for it. Score!! Almost new home 5 minute walk from the sea. Not a lay on the beach kind of place but a beautiful rocky coastline. We could spend hours down there watching the breaking surf. The best part of our stay was the neighbors. We have talked about moving to Crete but our neighbor Yanna sold us on the idea. We felt like she adopted us into her family. We have spent a few weeks on Crete but never felt so much at home as Guy’s Place. BTW: If you are reading this we recommend booking now. Once guy has this property established on Air BnB prices should absolutely go up.

Lovely house which has a great location in the city. Close to loads of restaurants and shops and within easy walking distance of lots of the main Heraklion attractions. Spotlessly clean when we arrived. Manos is a very welcoming host and was very helpful, even helping us book taxis. Would definitely stay here again.
