Vacation rentals with a pool in Islands

Best place to vacate in Crete. Fantastic host and very good service from Claire.

We were very happy with our stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and the home was lovely and clean! The location was fine too considering we had a car. The pool was also lovely. We were definitely satisfied.

We had a lovely stay at this simple place. The proximity to the beach and pool allowed us to cool off at any time. Provide a short journey to the different sites to visit: Nafplio, Mycenes, Corinth... The accommodation is a little out of the way.

Nice place to relax in Around 10 min. to the down town (by car) Nearest supermarket is within 7-10 minutes by car as well

It was just great - the accommodation, the pool, the view, the tranquility - we enjoyed it very much! The exchange or contact with Manolis was also great, quickly accessible and always very friendly. We can only recommend the place! :)

We had a wonderful time in this apartment . We are a small family from Berlin and our daughter especially loved the pool. There are two great terraces, one with a sea view including awning and one with a view of the mountains. Everything was very relaxed and quiet. The open kitchen and the large fridge were also great. We say - Thank you - and best regards from Berlin.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

The views are even more stunning in person. Lovely apartment a few minutes walk to restaurants and close to the centre of the town.

Smaller than the space appears to be in the photos but clean and well appointed. Danielle, our host, was helpful, a great communicator, and accessible. Great to be able to communicate easily when out of country. The pool is small, good for refreshing only. Be prepared for 3 flights of steep stairs to gain entry.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

Mikael's place was wonderful, spotless and well equipped. Everything was as described. The kids loved the pool and the big garden. We were very well taken care of and we highly recommend others to stay here while visiting the Thymári area. Thanks again Mikael for having us 😊

Thanks to Helen, who prepared water and snacks for us because we were arriving late. Really available, very responsive. The place is clean and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything is great.

Wow – what an absolute gem of a place! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The people by the pool were so lovely and made us feel right at home – they really know how to create a great vibe. The food? Unreal. Delicious, fresh, and (surprisingly!) not overpriced like so many spots on the island. We ended up eating at the hotel more than planned, and we have zero regrets. Everything was super clean and well looked after – clearly a lot of care goes into the place. Yes, it was a bit loud at night thanks to the clubs nearby, but let’s be honest – that’s part of the island’s charm, and definitely not the hotel’s fault. Bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. And the pool… a literal dream. We spent hours there just soaking it all in. Honestly, the only downside? The hotel was so good we barely wanted to leave and explore the island. Whoops! 😂 Already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location. Within minutes of walking to anything you want. Place was comfortable, clean and spacious. Great showers and hot water. AC worked. Best of all, were how wonderful the hosts are. They helped us arranged for transportation from Airport and during a taxi strike. I’d stay here again because of them and the place.

Blue Key Villa is outstanding. Situated high above the coastline it has spectacular views from almost anywhere in the Villa. Manos and his team are excellent and are able to provide recommendations and services for use in Villa. We used their recommended chef, Spyros, one evening, and it was brilliant. Communication is clear, and responses received promptly. Blue Key is an exceptional property.

A stunning location, you could never get bored of the view it’s intoxicating! The house is spacious and clean with everything you need inside as well as being in walking distance to some lovely little restaurants and wine tasting. Would highly recommend!!

The property is beautiful and location just perfect just a 15mins bus ride to the harbor which is full of nice restaurants and shops etc. The property is a short walk to the beautiful beaches with a few beach bars with nice food and drink and restaurant not far away with very nice food. This was my second time staying here. I love this place. I love that it has an elevator to all 3 of our floors. Last Time I came I had a bad hip and this time a bad knee so it was perfect for me. We loved the pool and having it all to ourselves. Although walking to Plaka would have been challenging for me, it would be walkable for someone in better shape. We used Uber to get around town. We were not far at all from Plaka, Monisteraki, Acropolis, Parliament Building. Next time we come to Athens we will stay here again. The host answered all my messages and questions. Whatever I may have needed like extra garbage bags, coffee, toilet paper…..they were right there to bring them to me. Great experience. The only negative would be that there is a concert venue nearby so we had one night of loud music until about 11:30/midnight. There may have been more evenings with loud music but we probably missed it because we were out until late. This has nothing to do with the apartment itself.

We had a fantastic stay at Marios’ place. He was a great host—always responsive and helpful both before our arrival and throughout our stay. He was also incredibly flexible, kindly allowing us an early check-in and late checkout, which made our trip even more relaxing. The house itself was spacious, peaceful, and had everything we needed. Super comfortable and perfect for unwinding. It’s a remote location, which is exactly what we were looking for—no nearby restaurants or supermarkets, but that was by choice. Athens was just about an hour’s drive away, which made for a perfect day trip. We didn’t end up going to the nearby beaches, but the pool and direct ocean access were amazing—refreshing and private. Quiet nights, beautiful surroundings… exactly what we hoped for. Only small suggestion would be to improve the internet speed a bit—but other than that, it was perfect. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay, Thanos could not do enough for us. From taking our bags out of the taxi on arrival, to booking our day trips and also all of our taxis whenever we needed them, any time of the day and night! The villa we stayed in had views to die for and was so peaceful, an excellent all round quality stay. Thank you!

This is a wonderful, comfortable and clean house with a beautiful view and sunset. The host is very helpful and has a great hospitality. We had a wonderful week and can definately recomend this house!
