Places to stay in Ishpeming

Great stay and experience. Peaceful and secluded property. Tucked in woods close to Lake Superior and Marquette. We enjoyed the Yurt, sauna, and deck. It was comfortable and had character with good hosts.

Theresa was a great host! We made last minute plans to spend the weekend in the UP, but she made quick accommodations for us. When we chose to stay an extra night, she quickly responded (despite our late request) and was very helpful. This cozy little cabin in the woods is just what we were looking for!

Staying here was exactly what we were looking for on a quiet winter weekend away. I was worried that it might not be as cute and charming as the pictures but it totally was! And the directions were specific and perfect, we never got lost which was a huge win. Thank you!

It was a beautiful little cabin. We were left to ourselves for our stay. It was a little cold to really enjoy the landscape right outside the cabin, but I imagine it would be a fantastic summer stay. We stayed for my birthday. It was quiet and relaxing. We will stay again.

Amber's space is the coziest place I have ever had the privilege of staying. Every nook and cranny has a treasure hidden there. We were incredibly comfortable during our late fall stay. The wood stove brings a lovely ambiance. We made some delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The gas stove is impressive. The bedroom loft is absolutely beautiful with the natural wood ceiling and half moon window. Even the drive in adds character to the stay. Amber provides written directions to locate and navigate the mile long two-track through the woods to the cabin as using google maps will take you to the wrong location. The cherry on top of our stay was the two delightful cats that live on the property. They are characters and incredibly friendly. We can't wait to come back.

What a gem of a house right near Marquette. On the big lake, but nestled amongst pines. It was cozy and cute inside and we were warm the whole time. I’d totally stay here again when I go back to the UP! 5 minutes to downtown, but lots of privacy.

Of all the places we’ve stayed this is a consistent favorite. Have been back numerous times, and the view and vibe are so cozy and relaxing. Close to the trails and right on the water. Couldn’t ask for more.
