Monthly Rentals in Ireland's Eye

Among the places we stayed on this trip, this was our absolute favorite. Less than 10 minutes from howth, and roughly 30 from the Guinness storehouse, it was the PERFECT location for our type of vacationing. Close enough to Dublin, but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we enjoyed walking along the shore in the mornings, and lounging on the comfortable leather couches in the evening. Francis is communicative, has a keen eye for decorating, and is very accommodating. Upon our first walkthrough, we immediately noticed the plethora of snacks, cleaning supplies, toiletries, anything you could think of to make one feel comfortable and at home. We truly could not have asked for a better air bnb experience. Go raibh míle maith agat (thank you so much)!

The apartment is a little cramped but the location is unbeatable. I had a HS reunion at the Abbey Tavern, directly across the road so I couldn't have asked for better. Conveniently close to a grocery store, butcher, pharmacy, Church, library, DART, Howth Castle and habor. Can't rate on parking as I didn't have a car. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and bars w/in walking distance. I recommend the Harbor Bar too, full of locals, and the 4 felines (gin, tonic, bushmills and ?). The apartment shared a wall with the gents toilet, so we heard some lively and funny conversations, and the hand dryer. That can be annoying, so bring earplugs for Friday and Saturday nights. Daragh was great too. We needed a Taxi for Easter Sunday. Daragh gave us a reliable taxi service, and confirmed it as my phone wasn't working. Thanks Daragh. He's a really chill guy. The cleaning ladies were very thorough and helpful.

We picked the perfect place to stay, ideally located to the local transport ( DART & Bus) surrounded by restaurants and pubs with the Starbucks literally 1 minute away for my morning coffee fix. The home itself was quaint and charming while Emma Jane was an EXCEPTIONAL host answering all our questions within a few minutes. We will definitely stay there again, Thank Emma Jane for being awesome!!

Can't speak highly enough about this beautiful place - we stayed here a month while one of us commuted into Dublin for work. Quiet, spectacularly beautiful, and a location that can't be beat - walkable to the Dart and bus stations, easy access to both Dublin central and local markets and restaurants, and best of all, unbeatable access to the best hikes and explores in Howth. (Cliff walks and Bog of Frogs hikes - don't miss - are basically out the back door.) We were without a car most of the time and had no issue accessing what we needed, and were able to treat this truly as a home away from home. Incredibly quiet neighborhood. Comfortable home, amazing views, responsive and helpful host. Cannot recommend highly enough!
