Very nice house in a quiet leafy suburb. Close to shops and the river. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Everything we needed was there.

Little Hampton Retreat is a beautiful home with everything needed for a comfortable and stress free holiday. The pool was well maintained and a covered outdoor area. Helen was a great host and was very quick to answer messages. The area was quiet and a shopping village, cafes and restaurants were within a few minutes walk. There is a park and picnic area for families on the way to the shops. A great place for anyone looking for a quiet stay somewhere with all the services but without the hussle and bussle of the city, only 15 minutes to a major shopping centre or 40 minutes to Brisbane. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thanks for a great stay.

Myself and my family had a wonderful stay at Amy’s place. It was so clean, easy to get into the place, we enjoyed the space and atmosphere. Amy was very responsive. 10/10 stay, would definitely stay again 😊

Awesome place to stay, bit like a home away from home really. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Main room has a massive lounge to sit back and relax on. It’s a shame it was a bit cool as the pool looks very inviting. Nice and quiet with privacy. Jasmine is great to communicate with. I’d definitely stay here again.

What an amazing, beautiful place. Waking up in the morning after sleeping well on a soft comfortable bed, and walking out on the deck straight from the bedroom with a coffee was a lovely start to the day. There is plenty of cushioned seating to relax looking down on the pool shimmering in the sun below. It was great to have the pool to ourselves for lazy swims and relaxing with a book on the loungers after. The place is very peaceful and a great place to unwind. The kitchen is very well equipped with appliances and crockery etc. The lounge is very comfortable with plenty of books and games to keep you entertained in the evening. There is also a big TV with Netflix. The bathroom has a large rain shower and separate bath with plenty of toiletries. Kara is very friendly and approachable and on hand very quickly with any queries and happy to share her knowledge of the many edible plants growing in the garden. This place is so well equipped - Kara has thought of everything!

This place is great! I am Ipswich for work a lot and I will stay here again. Beautiful old home, very clean and well appointed. Pool is amazing and the pool table is great too! Brett is very kind and helpful. I loved my stay at House of Joy, highly recommend 👌

Thank you for a lovely stay! Gorgeous surroundings and so peaceful. We took full advantage of the outdoor fire pit, but unfortunately too cold to utilise the plunge pool. Room size are big and can comfortably accommodate large families. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook with, I would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely accommodation - very spacious, extremely clean, comfy beds, complete privacy even though it was the top floor of the main residence. Hosts were very warm and welcoming. Will be our go-to place when staying next in the area.

We just needed a place to sleep at night. This place had incredibly comfortable beds and a great shower/bathroom to suit. Can't comment on the kitchen/laundry facilities (didn't use them), but there is a single phase outdoor plug for trickle charging an EV that was an added bonus! I read the previous reviews and bathroom is great and as long as you accept that this is actually someoned home (as opposed to rental facility) then I feel its priced extremely well and described even better. We will be staying here (if avaliable) in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Paul’s house, which was in a great location. There were a few minor issues but overall the house was lovely. Paul was great with communication and we would definitely recommend this house to others.

The house is beautiful, functional and a perfect getaway!! Its luxurious furnishings perfectly complimenting the beauty of the river outside, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay the weekend. Great amenities and within a few minutes of driving distance from major shopping centres.

Calm and peaceful home with beautiful scenic views and garden outside. 40mins away from the city and easily accessible by car and bus. Home was cozy and enjoyed beautiful sunrises as well. Shops within comfortable distance and friendly responsive host.

Upon arrival at Helen's place, we felt right at home. The area is beautiful but is still close to the city but without the city sounds of cars and humans which was great. Helen was so friendly, very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. She provided us with fresh sourdough, milk and other provisions which was a really nice touch as well as some coffee vouchers to the local place which had amazing coffee and chai lattes. The cabin was rustic and super cute. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great. We especially loved the ducks, chickens and doggos. When we checked out Helen gave my daughter a gorgeous necklace which she loves. I would definitely stay with Helen again. Thank you so much for having us Helen.
