Such a beautiful stay! The wow factor when you pull up is just the start! We had the most amazing time and made so many wonderful memories staying at this beautiful historic home. From seeing fireflies in n the evening to morning coffee on the beautiful screen porch, we had the most wonderful family adventure. The third floor was setup perfectly for our twin girls in one room and our son in the other! Town of spring green close by was a family favorite and we had some amazing dinners/lunches there. 100% recommend you try this stay. Make sure to have good bug spray and you are set! Thanks so much to Sam and Bruce for sharing this wonderful place with us all!

The perfect home away from home! There is plenty of room for everyone, human and k-9. We had 4 adults and 1 pre-teen, plus 2 mastiffs in our group. The location was perfect for our stay. The house and property are exactly as listed and have everything you need readily available. Very clean home, with 3 comfortable queen-size beds and 1 twin-size; extra bedding in closet if needed. Plenty of towels, TP, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hand soap, etc; even a first-aid kit. Leah and her family were amazing hosts. The house was ready early for us and there was even a thoughtful welcome gift waiting! Not only can you interact with the two horses and goat on the property, but you're also welcome to arrange a visit to their large farm where you can meet additional animals and participate in other activities. If you're traveling with your dogs, crates/kennels are NOT provided; please consider bringing your own as we did out of respect to the property owner and future guests. We'll be back!

Very nice, quiet place. Bedrooms were comfortable (even though we only used two) and there was plenty of space to do our crafting and puzzles.

Spotless, cute apartment in Spring Green! Linens and beds were extremely comfortable. Perfect place to stay in a quaint town! Unfortunately, several of the restaurants/stores were closed during our October midweek stay. A local grocery store was available. Future guests should take note of the kitchen description as options for preparing a meal were a bit limited. Otherwise, it was a wonderful getaway. Beautiful area, friendly people and close to Taliesin!

Large house on a very large property in the driftless with hiking trails and a trout stream right on the property. Location is great and centrally located in the driftless close to towns like Mt Horeb, Mineral Point and Spring Green. House is in good condition with small imperfections. Lots of room to spread out.

Beautiful private location, for a family Holiday. we'll stocked kitchen for family dinners. toys and games for family time and plenty of space for everyone. Truly enjoyed our time at The Farmhouse

Great place for a writer's retreat. Truly a special place. Surrounded by nature, peaceful, yet a short trip to groceries and quirky, historic main street towns (well, we only made it to Mineral Point). My friends and I cozied up and wrote, enjoying a gorgeous view out the bank of windows, perfectly positioned for the evening sun to bathe the living room. Kitchen and baths well appointed. Hosts were friendly and communicative. I only wish we could have used the pool! Definitely will come back in summer.

This home was a beautiful escape with walking trails, wildlife, and plenty to do! There were yard games, a play structure for the kids, and freshly mowed trails around the property for morning coffee walks. The epitome of serenity. We soaked up every second, rain or shine. Only thing that would have made it better was propane for the grill, coffee, and locking bathroom doors. We would absolutely return if we are back in the area!!
