Loved staying here! Having the hot tub to relax in and watch the Northern Lights was amazing! The large picture windows that overlook the water, mountain and town were a great feature. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The house was perfect for our needs (we are a family of 7)- even big! Kitchen was great and the location was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at Anna’s farm. Accommodated four adults comfortably. One twin room, one single room, one room with cot and bunk beds (so may be difficult for some adults - alternative sofabed in lounge). More than five adults could be cramped. Two toilets were useful. The kitchen was well equipped. We self catered throughout with everything we needed. Anna was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. The tour of her greenhouses was lovely and the peppers she gave us were appreciated! Our biggest problem was driving. Due to snow storms, the roads and Anna’s drive weren’t clear and stayed slippy for several days and we felt unable to do a lot of things we’d planned, including some trips out. The nearest shops are in Akureyri, so the car is essential for getting supplies, and a four wheel drive would have been better. I would also suggest studs on your shoes; Anna lent us ski-poles. We were rewarded on our last night of a faint showing through phone cameras of the Northern Lights.

The house is comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and in a stunning location. The hot tub is easy to use and very nice to relax in. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed much longer. Despite the weather (cold with low cloud and rain) we loved the views over the water and the snowy mountains. We drove up to Siglufjordur which is beautiful, walked on the causeway in front of the house and on Dalvik beach which is gorgeous, and did the classic whale watching from Dalvik and saw humpbacks, minke whales and porpoises. Also visited Tjornes peninsula and Husavic. Unfortunately the puffins left early this year so we didn't see any, but the coast is dramatic and we did some good walks. All fantastic. Thanks Ragnar.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.

This place was lovely inside and out the hot tub took approx 45mins to fill and was red hot and we had thick snow. The contrast was fabulous. Just 10 mins from Akureyri where we went whale watching. We loved it here and would most definitely recommend to visitors. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

We had a pleasant stay, and we felt right at home, with everything we needed. The space is spacious and clean, and the decor shows Icelandic life. The area is very beautiful and we were able to discover it easily. A little more, the large floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to observe the northern lights in the warmth.

The house is big and there are many beds. But, indeed you need to be aware of the stairs. The place is beautiful, a very good choice for a group of friends.

The apartment on the farm is bonito. The owners quickly fixed a small issue and cared about our comfort. Very enjoyable and communicative. To be recommended.

Augusta is a great host has created the most lovely place right next to Asbyrgi. The cottage had everything you need for your stay. It has an amazing view and a very quiet and peaceful environment. The beds were amazing, we slept very good in them. Everything was just perfect!

Had a great stay! The drive was quite a bit on the gravel road, as people said but instructions were very clear and there were signs for the cabins, so it was easy to find! Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed a walk outside, it’s very serene!

Beautiful, cozy, small wooden cabin on the opposite side of the fjord of Akureyri. You can see the entire city from there, but you're still far enough away from all the light sources to see the northern lights dancing in the sky at night 😍 Outside there is even an excellent gas grill that we once used. We have also never grilled in almost complete darkness while we built a snowman next to it, but that was definitely worth the experience 😁 I can really recommend the place to anyone!

An amazing apartment with literally everything you could possible want. The kitchen has a fabulous coffee machine (plus beans) and all the apparatus/spices you could possibly need if you decide to cook. The parking space is right in front of the apartment and the beds are the most comfortable ever - I even looked up the mattress' brand name so that I can investigate upgrading ours at home! Excellent utility room for drying clothes too. All very spacious, clean and well-maintained. A really super find.

Such a beautiful place in an amazing location. Also able to see aurora from here too. Host was very helpful and would definitely recommend this spot.

Nicely decorated apartment, spacious kitchen, free street parking right by the door, responsive host, good linen. Note that the washing machine and dryer are in a shared room with the apartment downstairs.
