It is an amazing place to stay. Spacy, well equipped, located in a peaceful area. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms well separated, the American-style living room/kitchen is large and homely. Myrra. the family cat with whom we gladly shared the flat is a very friendly cat who has never bothered us. My sons liked to caress her. We can strongly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a well-located, spacious, cozy place to stay.

:) the accommodation was as advertised. it was a very comfortable apartment for 5 people. it had everything you need for a comfortable stay :( us to the apartment 400, it was a 3rd floor. the stairs were narrow and uncomfortable to climb with luggage

Great location, easy communication with Vala and everything as described

To get there you have to follow the directions given by the host, the house is clearly visible from the main street. Once you enter it is like taking a step back in time, a typical Icelandic house with still many family items inside, we really liked it! The house is spacious, warm and comfortable, nothing is missing! We'd be happy to stay for more days! The host was very kind, he sent me directions to the house well in advance and wrote to me right away to tell me that we forgot things at the house.

I wrote a review for how wonderful the place I stayed in before Gabriela's and said it was the best AirB&B I've ever stayed at. Then I stayed at Gabriela's! Her place was on par with the best. Everything was amazing (super shower) and the bed was awesome! Gabriela gave us a great restaurant recommendation that was amazing. I'm now convinced that Iceland simply has the best hosts around. Thank you for everything!

Easy access. Hassle-free check in. Apartment is spacious, clean and modern. Very cosy and warm. Convenient and within walking distance to restaurants and cafe. Vignir is hospitable, proactive and clear with his instructions. Highly recommended.

Helgi’s place was in a great location to get to places like Husavik, Myvatn, and only 10 minutes from Forest Lagoon (an absolute highlight and must do!). He was friendly, polite and responsive, and the studio was lovely, well kept and in a wonderful spot. Having a morning coffee (there is a great coffee maker in the studio!) while gazing at the mountain scenery was wonderful. We would highly recommend Helgi’s place, and would love to come back some day :)

A little early to check out at 10 am

We had a wonderful stay at Guðlaugur's. The appartment was well located and with every useful equipment. We would definitely go back there.

Rented this place for a month with a few friends. Nice spot, nice location. There were a few mechanical problems with doors but we managed. Great location, and Akureyri is a beautiful place to explore.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s close enough to be able to enjoy Akureyri but secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I loved the sunrises, soaking in the hot tub and seeing the northern lights. So many beautiful places to explore nearby. Thank you Sólveig & Unnsteinn and we loved the furry friends too :)

We loved our stay in this cabin and couldn’t have happily stayed for longer. The location is excellent with amazing views. It’s only a couple of minutes drive from the airport and had parking right by the cabin. The cabin itself was so clean and cosy. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The bed was super comfy too! The hot tub overlooking the mountains was gorgeous, although a little colder than we would have liked, but this wasn’t an issue as we were out exploring most of the time and Forrest lagoon is only a couple of minutes drive away too. Overall an excellent stay and we look forwards to visiting again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Jónas’s home! He text us quite early that the unit was ready to check in well in advance of the 4pm check in time. He was always super responsive and the unit was in the perfect location, close to stores, restaurants and attractions. We had an amazing time.

The host was accommodating and friendly. The apartment was warm and comfortable. We can recommend this home to other travellers.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.

The house keeper is really nice and friendly, and the dogs are also very cute🥰
