Private cosy canal-side Annexe with own front door. The king-size bedroom has a good sized en-suite shower room, which includes fresh towels, hair dryer and an iron. There is a separate open-plan lounge/kitchen, which is fully equipped including a dishwasher. The lounge has a comfortable, electric feet-up lay back sofa, with a Smart TV. We ensure our guests have some fresh groceries upon arrival., including tea, coffee, milk, cereal, bread, etc for a simple breakfast.

We were just using as a base while we went to a family event, but it was clean, cosy and peaceful, so ideal for what we needed. unfortunately we didn't get time to use it, but the garden out the back looked great. We found the cottage very comfortable and met all our needs. We were staying in Cuddington to be near our family and it was ideal for that. We had an unfortunate incident with the downstairs shower as the head snapped off. We managed to do a temporary fix to help out in the interim. The only SLIGHT negative was that we felt a bit close to the owners house and that we were intruding in their space( although they didn’t make us feel like that at all). It would also be helpful to have a blind on the top front window as it was a bit exposing!!

lovely family home with all the utilities & equipment you could ever need. Alex was a very friendly & informative host. the house itself is within a 10 minute walk of the Old town which is lovely. We visited a couple of the pubs which were very nice. would definitely recommend to family & friends & wouldn't hesitate to stay again if visiting the area

We had a fantastic stay here, with our 2 boys (7 yo and 9 mo) we were given a high chair and travel cot which was spotlessly clean and comfy. The property is perfect! very close to the centre of St Albans and within an easy train ride of London. Very close to Harry Potter studio tours too. Lots of extra touches such a tea, coffee and treats left in the property for us to use. Modern appliances and high spec in everything. We loved our stay and will definitely book again.
