We had a delightful stay here. La Gite is a gem and Catherine is a lovely host. La Gite is spacious and very lovely inside (and outside) and beautifully comfortable. Added bonus is the swimming pool! There're quite a few lovely chateaux nearby, surrounded by rolling countryside and majestic towns eg Chinon & Richelieu, and of course the River Vienne.

Absolutely perfect! Fabulous host, friendly and very responsive. Clean, organized and cute decor. Beautifully remodeled. Great location, close to town and many other adventurers but situated in the lovely countryside. We hope to visit again many times more!

Although our visit was short, we enjoyed our stay at Fanny's place very much! The cottage is quiet, very well-equipped, clean and comfortable, warm welcome. The village is charming (an incredible number of roses in bloom!) and it's a beautiful area. I would recommend it in a second. Thanks so much!

We had a great time in this small house on the banks of the Loire. The photos and description are in line with reality. The local shops offer excellent products. Montsoreau is a pleasant village, quiet but lively and ideally located for discovering the surroundings on foot or by bike. We enjoyed the warm welcome and responsiveness of our hosts as well as the advice on the many visits.

We had a great stay with my daughter and our two small dogs in this nice spacious, welcoming, very clean house with all the comforts. The exterior is furnished for dining, relaxing, and is fully enclosed for our little companions. Thank you Ghuilaine, who is a very friendly, welcoming host who takes the time to answer all our questions. It's very nice!! We'll be back with our little family very soon!!

Arnaud and Isabelle made us feel like family. Beer, Sparkling wine, juice, gift bag with snacks were provided to us. Toiletries, tea and coffee were available for our use. Beautiful roses in our cottage. A private barbeque area and deck-chairs to relax and unwind in the garden. This is the BEST place we have stayed in so far. Absolute value for money.

Exactly what we were looking for, a nice place in the country that was close to towns and chateaux we could explore. We are a group who likes cooking and were easily able to do so in the nice kitchen oozing with French charm. Plus the beds were very comfortable, always a plus when traveling. The setting was abundant with beautiful flowers in bloom, chickens clucking peacefully, and a horse in the field. It was really wonderful. We appreciated that Odette came out to meet us and to make sure we knew where everything was.

Clean house with anything you need. Very quiet neighbourhood and easy to find. We were very pleased to even find a personal greeting on a small blackboard at the entrance

The accommodation is a real cocoon, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. A tastefully decorated attic while maintaining its authentic side. The quiet countryside and the jacuzzi delighted us.

Listing as described. Very clean, well-equipped and quiet home. I highly recommend it and will not hesitate to return to her home if we return to the area.

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

Saumur is a super town to visit, and this apartment is a great base, very central to the restaurants and shops, and a short walk up to the castle and other sights, It’s a nice flat as well and a on a quiet road. Anaïs, Joëlle and Pierre were very helpful.

Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice apartment ideally located for those who like the old district of Tours and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Difficult access by car (pedestrian access) and complicated parking because of the historic center of Tours, but I think this accommodation also offers a parking space which is ideal. In short, a very nice location and impeccable, atypical and very pleasant accommodation

Very beautiful accommodation, as described and very well equipped. Isabelle was very available to welcome us with great kindness in her living space. The bakery at the foot of the building is a real plus, as well as free parking nearby. A 160cm bed will bring a little more comfort. Thanks again, we'll be happy to come back.

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

I recommend this apartment to my friends. It's certainly above all expectations. The only advice I would give Melin is to let guests find placemats for breakfast, too. Otherwise everything is perfect
