Lovely location with a beautiful view over the local countryside. Gavin was very helpful when needed, the house was very clean and well appointed. We'd defiantly stay again.

The house was amazing!! Very spacious with a large kitchen and entertaining area! Very peaceful estate, the kids loved roaming the estate. The central pool was great as we could always have eyes on the children. The host and house helper were very responsive and always available. All round Great experience.

This home is an absolute gem. A beautiful, peaceful family home in a very private part of Gowrie Farm. From the moment we arrived, everything was impeccably organised, and Paula made sure we felt completely cared for throughout our stay. The setting is nothing short of spectacular, with rolling valleys and gorgeous surroundings. If you are looking to escape from the hustle of daily life, this is it. Inside, the house is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with more than enough room for our family of five to spread out comfortably. Whether we were enjoying time together or retreating to one of the many cosy nooks, there was a sense of calm and comfort in every corner. Loved our stay.

we had some shortages of cutlery and crockery as well as shower gel and towels. but after a call to Wendy she fixed it immediately. great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Craig’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Craig was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. As we were on a road trip in vintage cars, it was especially thoughtful of him to check in when we were running late—his care and attention really stood out. The place itself was of a great standard—clean, cozy, and well-equipped for the cold winter. The housekeeping service was also top-notch: friendly, efficient, and always ensuring the space was neat. Fresh bedding and towels were always available and spotless. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re after a warm and well-looked-after spot on your travels!

A peace of paradise, especially if you’re looking to get away from the hubbub and enjoy the serene countryside. Kirsten was a super host. She was flexible and accommodated our ever-changing travel plans without complaining. The accommodation itself has all the amenities one needs to enjoy a stay at a home away from home. True, the final stretch of road leading up to the accommodation needed to be traversed slowly (and a vehicle with higher clearance is preferred) but that’s understandable given the nature of the beautiful terrain - the whole point of choosing a place like Kirsten’s!

Wonderful stay : spotlessly clean cottage , nicely decorated with many personal touches to make it a great and comfortable stay. Lovely walks on the property. We will be back definately.

If you want complete peace and quiet this is the place to be. The house is huge and you can easily just spend a few days there with the family without having to go anywhere. The farm is perfect for walking, running, cycling or just having a fun time with the family. The kids loved the tennis court, seeing the horses and just playing in the beautiful Garden. Thanks for a wonderful relaxing stay.

Wow what a wonderful place to stay. The home is truly a home, nice big bedrooms, en suit bathrooms and stunningly done. The garden is amazing and if you into birding you in for a treat. Situation is great, easy acess to town, coffee shop, fabulous butchery and quick drive to lovely eateries. Will definitely be back.

Michelle is a great host, responded almost immediately and we were in a bit of a tight spot and needed accomodation for 2 nights due to severe weather. Michelle is helpful and friendly and it was a great stay. I can only recommend staying with her.

A beautiful home full of character, set in a serene location. The house is well equipped and should have all you need for your stay. Claire was a responsive and attentive host, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ty Draig.

Such a lovely spot! Arrived to a kitchen stocked with breakfast goodies and snacks. Beautiful views of the valley. Super cozy spot with heaters and blankets. Very quiet and peaceful. Bit of a bumpy road in (especially for low suspension cars), but the owners followed us in to make sure we were safe, so top tier service, for sure! Would highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

We got what we paid for, the place is clean, had WiFi and my family enjoyed the place. Having breakfast at the patio was the best for us while listening to the birds. The host was very pro active and was willing to assist at anytime. The place was well located and it made my morning walk worth to remember. It's closer to the Howick falls, Karkloof Falls & Nelson Mandela capture site. i wouldn't mind returning for another stay. Thank you for your warm home.

Had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed sitting in front of the roaring fireplace soaking up the magnificent view of the Drakensberg.

Spacious and homely. Allowed for my big family to get cosy and comfortable the whole weekend. Very responsive and gracious host. The place is heavenly you are nestled in the trees and captivated by the lake. It was too cold to swim so look forward to visiting when weather is warmer

Penelope was a great Host. We reached pretty late from our long international flight. She came over in no time as soon as we called her and helped us settle into the house. This is a great place for people looking to the Comrades Down run. But you need to have a car as its a little far from downtown. The house was very comfortable, and perfect for us.
