Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Houghton Lake

Perfect location to stay at as my niece got married not far away (10 minutes) at the Little Flower Barn. Didn’t spend much time here as we were busy at the venue most of the time. Comfy beds, coffee and creamer provided.

It was a great stay, the house is close to the lake, couple of minutes walking, nice and peaceful surroundings. Clean and comfortable.

This was one of the best airbnb's we've experienced. Clean, well supplied, great attention to detail, and responsive host. Beautiful setting (inside and out) made you feel at home. Quiet setting and only a short drive to small town restaurants and activities.

We enjoyed our stay! Michelle was very responsive. It was close to town but far enough to feel secluded. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was one of the initial factors we looked at this house. The deck attached was large enough for us all to gather. Beautiful kitchen and spacious.

Luke and Angie Our stay was wonderful such a peaceful place and the woods are so beautiful our granddaughter loved walking in the woods. She made a new friend with cash she just loved him. Autumn's place was actually better than the pictures shown. It's got a beautiful view from every window on the east side of Fife Lake and there is an eagle nest in a tree on the island right across. The sunrises are beautiful over the lake and it's so very peaceful there. The fireplace was great to use and we were grateful for the use of the washer/dryer as well. Autumn communicated with us prior to our arrival and during our stay just to make sure all was going smoothly. Check in was easy. Finding the property was also very easy as directions are clear. Property was very clean, my level of clean too which is pretty squeaky. Shower was great, bed and bedding very comfortable. We've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's in our travels, my husband and I both agree this was one of the nicest.

Rachel’s house was comfortable from the start. Everyone including the pets found the house to be fun. The children loved the ability to fish right from the pier and to get out on the water with the 3 waterboard choices. The fire pit was nicely located being right outside the back door instead of down by the water. We found the Harrison location to fun as well. We will be back to Rachel’s house and Harrison.

Perfect place for three generations of our family to stay during a summer family reunion! Nicely renovated with lovely decor. So comfortable with lots of space. We enjoyed the deck off of the dining and living room, as well as the fire pit. Nice to be able to put our vehicles in the garage when it was raining too!

Very affordable, clean and cozy, and only a few minutes from the tridge and yummy food!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We love staying at this property and have done so multiple times. It is convenient to walk to everything in Clare, and also a short drive from so many things to see in the surrounding area. We highly recommend it if you're looking for lodging in the Clare area.

The home was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We only stay one night and wished our stay was longer. Definitely if we get the chance would stay at this Airbnb again!

Such a great place! Very clean, quiet & comfortable. Plus, there was real furniture and antiques, so much character and really wonderful decorating. A lot of thought and love went into this place & the hosts were awesome! We LOVED our stay and will definitely be back!
