Guesthouse vacation rentals in Houghton Estate

Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

We had everything we needed. Coffee, tea and milk were provided. The cottage is very private and the beds were comfy. Very easy access by remote and private garage with door leading directly into the cottage. The 2nd bed is only a single bed, whilst I thought it was a double from the pics, but it was comfy and the linen was perfect and soft. I didn't need more. The bathroom and a couple walls need repainting, but I am a little OCD with that cos I have a painting company so I notice small things unnecessarily. On the whole everything was fabulous and I will continue to book with Dirkie for all future visits to jozi.

I had an incredible weekend at Lemon Tree Cottage. The Cottage was cozy, clean and beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home. Justin and Given(The host) were warm and welcoming and helped me with my checkout which was stressfull because my transport arrived very late and they allowed me to wait for it at the cottage, that was the highlight of my stay, not many hosts would be willing to do that. I highly recommend Lemon Tree Cottage for anyone seeking a home away from home. I can't wait to return!.

Always feel right at home when staying at Debby’s Lemon Tree Cottage! She makes us feel very welcome and always quickly responds to any questions or requests we have. The cottage is comfortable, spacious and tidy, with a fantastic kitchen for aspiring chefs and a beautiful garden — our favourite place in Joburg!

I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. Karen and Gavin took great care of me and the place was beautiful and well maintained. Gavin said that the place is going to have beautiful blooming flowers in September. The place is located in a secure area with convenient layers of security. So if you need a place near Sandton this September, check this place out. Will definitely go back there when I have clients in Sandton.

The host is kind and warm person. We could easily find the place and it is less than 10 mins to Clearwater mall. The area is quiet and peaceful. We had a great time with my family at Ndivhuho place, it is a home away from home. There is everything you need fridge, gas stove, pots, airfryer, washing machine, iron, wifi We will definitely consider booking the place again.

Beautiful clean cozy place—feels like an oasis. But also close to shopping and restaurants. Can’t recommend more highly!
