Family-friendly vacation rentals in Horsham

Me and my family stayed here for my mums birthday for the weekend. It was absolutely the most perfect place to be. Beautiful, spacious and modern house. With 3 bathrooms & robes for all of us. A very generous ampunt of cookery, pots, pans, glasses for us to use, which made it easier to cook in the kitchen. Also had salt, pepper, tea and a few bits of food for us to use. We travel a lot, and this is more than any other airbnb host has given us. The Jacuzzi was the highlight of our trip, so relaxing and easy to use. The rooms were neat and the beds and beddings were so soft and comfortable, I had a great sleep here. The house had a good heating system, an easy to use oven and cooker. The location was perfect. In a quite street, but a few mins from busy areas, shopping markets, the mall, the beach, and good restaurants. The host George was also very responsive. I have so much more great things I can say about this place. I highly recommend anyone to come and experience it for yourselves.

We loved the location of this property - close to the beach and in a peaceful location, but still within easy walking distance of shops, pubs and places to eat. The property was perfect for our group - clean, comfortable and spacious.

Andy and Jessica were great hosts and both very friendly, we were a large group of 24 on a hen do but made to feel very welcome! The property was amazing, with stunning scenery. They had a new hot tub delivered that morning for us to use (as the previous one had broken) and accepted our Tesco delivery while we were stuck in traffic, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Thankyou for making our weekend so special! x

We had a lovely stay at Treetops, it's in a beautiful area with plenty to do a short drive or longish walk away. The flat itself was super cosy and inviting, and the hot tub in the garden was perfect for warming up after some pretty typically bad English weather! Sam was extremely attentive and welcoming, and as dog people there were two pretty huge perks in the form of some extremely friendly spaniels running about who were very keen to play fetch with us. Would 100% recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings, we enjoyed sleeping with the owls & waking up to the woodpeckers, pheasants, red kites etc! Betty is super cosy once you get the fire going and a lovely little peaceful getaway. Plenty of space and all the amenities needed. The robes in the bathroom were a lovely touch and the outside bath was a little treat! Everything was as described and we’d love to return in the spring months. If you enjoy nature and the little things in life, you won’t regret staying here ☺️

We stayed here as a base when we visited Lapland and it was great as it was only an 8 minute drive. Lovely little cabin with a very comfortable bed. Good facilities and very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Penny's. It was clean and cosy and very close to Charleston House, which we'd come to visit. Very nice.

A great place to stay, we were there for a month and it was a little home from home, all that we needed was there. It was comfortable warm and relaxing which we needed after a busy day. Bertie our puppy loved the field and even our cat felt safe enough to wander round the grounds and garden. Anthony was a great host, totally non intrusive but there when we needed him, a very laid back and friendly guy who didn't bat an eyelid when we had to tell him that Bertie had made a hole in the arm of the sofa, (which we will obviously pay for)! ! Thanks Anthony.

Pretty and very comfortable cottage with off street parking. Carol didn’t just provide everything you could need for a stay including enough coffee pods for the machine - YES! - but there was also a thoughtful hamper with fresh bread, biscuits and crisps as well as milk, butter and jams in the fridge waiting for me. Brilliant, thank you, it was how Airbnb stays used to be when you were still made to feel like a bit of a special guest.

We LOVED our stay here - it was the perfect countryside getaway. Would highly recommend!

Just had my second stay here and it was just as perfect as the first.. Clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped..

I really enjoyed my stay! I had to bunker down as storm Bert hit the night I arrived, so I spent almost all my time in the bunker. I really enjoyed it. exactly what I needed! really gorgeous runs along the beach and river and the bath was such a welcome. really loved the little touches, little suprise in the draws and the bagels and jam and OJ. What a delight! perfect space for a bit of reflection and down time. thank you so much Annie!

I really enjoyed my stay here because there were lots of restaurants with plenty of variety, public transportation was super close and the places was so comfortable to stay in. I felt very cozy at this flat. It is a bit far from the touristy areas but you won't have trouble getting there if that's what you want to do. I only dealt with AnneMarie, the co-host, who was always quick to respond and come up with solutions. When the wifi went out, she was very responsive in getting it back up again. She also gave very clear instructions for checking in and getting to the place. The place is exactly like the photos with a wonderful shower, a piano and a Bluetooth to hook up your music. You can hear the upstairs neighbors here and there but they aren't loud. And the outside traffic isn't too loud either. I was able to sleep soundly, though I'm used to city noise. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. I felt very at home the entire time.

We had a great stay at Susie’s cottage, the place was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The one thing that stood out to me was how thorough her recommendations were which shows she cares about her guests. The link tavern was worth the visit! She also came out to greet us and made us feel right at home. Thank you Susie!

Great place to stay. A lovely quiet location in the grounds of Carolines place. Ducks around and beautiful grounds. Would highly recommend.

This house is absolutely fantastic. Our group of 9 including a teen and two 9-year-olds stayed very comfortably for a week with a typically English mix of weather and the house accommodated us amply. The spaces were all individual, relaxing and full of beautiful furniture and art, we loved the characterful high-ceilinged garden room and the sitting room big enough for all 9 of us to play games. All the first floor bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and generous storage, and the second floor attic with two bedrooms and a relaxing space between was a great little world away. The rambling garden and the tennis court, trampoline, warm pool and table tennis were a real hit with our group. Locally there was something for everyone, highlights including great walks from the house along the river and up onto the spine of the South Downs, and garden visits to High Beeches and Sussex Prairie Gardens. Enzo and Lucy are well deserved superhosts, we would return in a heartbeat.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ali's barn Very stylish and classic and a relaxing place to stay. Everything was easy and simple to use too. It was also really clean and nicely presented. Wow! We absolutely loved this 3-day break. The pool exclusivity was amazing; all the facilities are brilliant and the accommodation is extremely comfy and cosy. Our sunday roast at The Gribble Inn was a real highlight. The kids loved the loft room (the stairs as advertised are steep!) and the beds were so comfortable. We are already planning our return for 2025. So impressive.

Great house perfect for our family gathering & close to transport links that we were using to meet up. Heated pool & hot tub were perfect to use & the large garden with table tennis, trampoline & hammock etc were ideal given the good weather during our trip. Hosts were fantastic providing extra sports equipment for use & were easily reachable throughout & swiftly solved the issue with the pool heater.

Really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was really well equipped, responses to questions were really quick and the barn was delightful.
