Villa vacation rentals in Holbox

Rocío and Ricardo have created a beautiful space. Their place is located very near to beautiful beaches yet very cozy and quiet (unless your children create the noise as was the case for us 😁). Nice places can be reached by foot to spend the day at the beach, for having breakfast, lunch or dinner. We couldn’t bother cooking with the nice selection of restaurants nearby. This place has the ability to slow you down immediately. You’re in the middle of nature with sometimes Iguanas and birds visiting on the deck. If you want to go to the center of Holbox it is advised to pick a small taxi cart (just ~ 200 pesos) unless you have anyhow rented bikes or a golf cart. The nearby beach is great for watching the sunset and for us it’s a big plus that you can let the kids run free as the water is shallow. Anyhow their preferred time of thaw day were the mornings and evenings using the pool. We can highly recommend the place.

La maison est absolument sublime, spacieuse et confortable, entourée d'un magnifique potager que nous avons eu la chance de visiter et dont nous avons pu déguster les produits. Les hôtes étaient adorables et aux petits soins. Nous avons pu réserver un dîner organisé par eux le soir de notre arrivée, et c'était délicieux, digne d'un excellent restaurant ! Nous avons passé un très bon moment, malgré quelques coupures de courant dans la région, mais Darius a été très réactif et nous a apporté toute l'aide nécessaire. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

The place was really lovely and HUGE! Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable but Kara can help organize anything you need! We had a great time and especially loved the pool!

Wonderful place, very comfortable and beautiful, with a great location. Walkable to restaurants and to town, but far enough away to feel peaceful and private. The rooftop was especially lovely - we enjoyed the pool and the view of the stars at night. Daniela and the Casa Boho team were incredibly friendly and communicative, everything was very easy. We would absolutely come back to stay here!

We had a lovely stay in Holbox! Daniella was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and stay. The place is beautiful! I would recommend renting bikes and getting pesos for the taxis. Daniella assisted with the bike rental and coordinated fishing trip for our group. She also assisted with dinner reservations and taxis as needed. There were a few minor hiccups with the water during our stay and she was on top of it! Overall, Holbox is a charming place to visit!

We booked the entire place for my birthday. Mostly two people per room. Follow the maps link to get there. If you get there after heavy rain I recommend a taxi cause the streets will have puddles. But the actual house is new and pristine. The grounds keeper was there for anything we needed. It’s a good idea if you are a big group to have a designated person to plan the lobster frying that is offered. The family that cares for the property cooked us a feast! We purchased steak and he ordered us fish lobster octopus and they made crab salad and salsa. It was great. I would not recommend as of now for wheelchairs or people who can’t climb steps. The ac worked great. Any issue we had was quickly addressed. The pool area was awesome. Every room has a kitchenette. Walkable distance to the fun spots but far enough to have peace when you’re sleeping. Would totally go back.

The location is absolutely a dream…the views of the ocean from the rooms and balcony are indescribable!! The concierge was friendly and very helpful! Overall super pleased with our stay!

We had a beautiful stay at Casa Milu! We loved the layout, great for a group where each couple or duo of friends can have a private room and bathroom, but we can all meet up in the common area. Also so cool the common area is outside! Felt very boho and fit the vibe! Paulina was super responsive too! We had a great stay! One thing to note, as some reviews have mentioned it is far out from town but we highly recommend walking along the beach to get into town! Much prettier and goes by faster/easier walk!

The Mexican saying “Mi casa es su casa” or “Están en su casa” is perhaps one of the most welcoming greetings for guests to receive in someone else’s home. Casa Imox and their entire team helped make our stay in Holbox memorable…we were “en casa” from beginning to end. Communication with Valeria was invaluable as she basically orchestrated and arranged everything from airport pick up to island transfers, recommended excursions, places to eat, must see’s and do’s. Dinner at the villa with Chef Rangel was a delicious treat. The service staff were always polite, positive and attentive…a big thank you to everyone at Casa Imox for a lovely stay in a truly beautiful home on an amazing little piece of Heaven…the unique island of Holbox and its remarkable and resilient people.

Miriam is THE BEST! She was very helpful and made sure to check in every day. The house is beautiful! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool size was perfect for 8 people. Please note the house is three blocks removed from the main road. I would stay here again!

el lugar de 100, tom desde la reserva estuvo pendiente y mas a la llegada a la isla, la casa tal cual en las fotos super bonita, comoda y tiene de todo, la ubicacion mas q excelente mucha privacidad un lugar enxcelente para ir a descansar, definitivamente volveria a reservar este casa, super recomendable 🤗

We enjoyed our time at Casa Imox a lot! 200m to the beach, surrounded by greenery, super clean, spacious rooms and well equipped. And Valeria is such a nice host that helps with everything. However, it‘s about 15 minutes walking to the center of Holbox where most restaurants and stuff is located, so you‘ll need bikes to get there comfortably. Given the price of this Airbnb, the bikes should be already included/ be part of the deal. Like this you’ll have to pay 250 MXN per day per bike. Also a washing machine is usually provided in these price ranges. But overall we can highly recommend Casa Imox and would definitely come back when going to Holbox again.

Absolutely stunning, very comfortable ocean front easy to get there super clean everyone very helpful. Excellent options for food. Very close by.

La atención de María fue excepcional y el espacio está divino, encantados de tener el mar frente a nuestra habitación, así como una gran vista y un desayuno muy rico. Un punto a fortalecer en el espacio es considerar calefacción para las albercas, cuando el clima no favorece, ya que no pudimos meternos en ningún momento porque consideramos la temperatura muy baja del agua. Sin duda volveremos.

We really loved to stay at Casa DK. The location was perfect to relax, a bit away from the city center. Yet that didn’t prevent us from doing our every day 20min beachwalk to the city (yes all the way to the center is walkable along the beachfront :) ) The most beautiful part were probably the sunsets which one can look at while sitting at your own terrace. Be aware that the house has two dogs, which sometimes bark at you (maybe that was just because the house owner was at home during our stay). Overall everyone was so kind and nice. Big shoutout to Karina. She was always happy to help, send recommendations, order taxis, etc. Gracias por todo! :)

Buena ubicación, buenas instalaciones, preciosa playa, comida y tiendas cerca y el desayuno que incluyen delicioso, el chef se lució! El servicio del equipo y la atención de Lucía y Karina excelente ! Muy recomendable

El lugar cumple con lo estipulado en la descripción, Karina tuvo iniciativa de estar al contacto de nuestra llegada y las indicaciones para llegar a la casa, el lugar está en una zona tranquila para disfrutar de las instalaciones y la playa con amigos o familia, todo muy excelente atención, instalación, zona y sobretodo conocer a la anfitriona que fue una grata sorpresa para mi familia; muy recomendable 🤩

Casa dos Estrellas is on a beautiful part of Holbox. The room and shared areas are gorgeous. The caretakers extremely friendly and helpful. The walk into Holbox along the beach is lovely at low tide, a little more adventurous when tide is a bit higher but totally doable. There’a plenty of nice restaurants nearby tho, so you wouldn’t need to leave the area if you didn’t want to. Maybe do a grocery shop on your way in, tho if you don’t plan on going back and forth. Elizabeth is very communicative and easy to reach if needed.
