Spacious, modern apartment

The quiet apartment consisting of a large, bright living room, fully equipped kitchen (stove with oven, microwave, toaster, pad coffee maker) and private shower room is located in the basement of our house. It is 60 m² and has its own entrance from the garden. We live on the Rhine between Cologne and Düsseldorf with good bus connections to the S-Bahn / Langenfeld Rhld. The travel times from there to Cologne or Düsseldorf are each about 30 minutes. Free parking space for a car is available. The city and shopping center with restaurants and breakfast cafes as well as the beautiful old town of Monheim are within 10 minutes' walking distance. The Rhine promenade is 15 minutes away. The Knipprather Forest, which invites you to jog and walk, is a 5-minute walk and the indoor swimming pool "MonaMare" can be reached in 15 minutes. There are also 2 bikes available for shopping and excursions. We are a cosmopolitan couple and speak English, French, Spanish and Portuguese in addition to German. We love dealing with international guests.

Das Apartment ist mit Liebe zum Detail geschmackvoll saniert und eingerichtet. Es befindet sich in einem Backsteingebäude von 1903, in einer ruhigen Straße. Das Buchen von privaten Yogastunden in unserem Yogastudio ist möglich. Fußläufig gibt es vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Du kannst auch am Ufer der Wupper wandern gehen oder Radfahren und auch nett einkehren. Mit dem Zug oder dem Auto bist Du in weniger als einer halben Stunde mitten in Köln. Am Bahnhof gibt es auch E-Bikes zu leihen.

The apartment was newly furnished in the fall of 2021. It is bright and friendly and has its own entrance and its own small terrace. It is located in an idyllic district with half-timbered houses and is close to the center of Leichlingen. Leichlingen is a small town on the edge of the Bergisches Land and easily accessible from Cologne, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. Bicycles and a parking space can be used. Contactless check-in is also possible.

This stylish accommodation is perfect for private individuals as well as for trade fair trips. Adults and children enjoy a piece of real nature between two big cities. Everyone can end the evening after a round of sports (sports hall, basketball court and play barn with trampoline and zipline/slide) around the campfire overlooking the lake. The outdoor pool is located in the large communal garden and is used by all of us.

We were so pleased to have found Sandra’s home on Airbnb. It is a perfect location for us while visiting family and friends in the area. From the beginning, Sandra was quick to respond to my inquiries and very accommodating to our early arrival. Our accommodations even exceeded our expectations- quite neighborhood, immaculate space, perfectly furnished with all necessary items needed for our 5 night stay. Arriving from overseas, we were grateful to have found soap, toothpaste & shower items provided. Host was always available to provide information or assistance when required. On our numerous previous visits to Baumberg, we always stayed in a local hotel. Now, having found this gem of an accommodation, we will be staying at Sandra’s!

We had a great time at the stone house, the location is absolutely idyllic. You can hear the Weser rippling behind the house and can arrive in a short walk at a playground and 2 beer gardens. We would definitely visit again!
