Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Family home, lovingly maintained. the location is ideal. This home is so welcoming you won't want to leave. Relaxing, with views one could never tire of. Debbie is the consummate host. Our welll mannered for Fur person relished this spot, with the very short stroll to the clean monitored beach and rock pool swims, with long beach walks and promenade runs. We will be back! What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be going back 😀 thank you Margriet for being such an amazing host.

Great stay. Beautiful property, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Our host was welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

A cute little place for a staycation. Easy to find and easy check-in. The places looks exactly like the photos and smells amazing b. I enjoyed my time and the apartment had all the basics one would need in a self catering accommodation. The complex had a pool with a braai area which I found to be a nice touch. Host was responsive and sent clear instructions. I would recommend this place for a staycation as the place is really peaceful especially on weekdays.

5/5 Stars! We had an absolute blast staying at Stephen’s incredible property! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness and neatness of the space. But the real showstopper was the fabulous garden and pool area - it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! Checking in and out was a breeze, and Stephen was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Plus, the location was unbeatable - we were just a stone's throw away from all the action! Thanks again, Stephen, for being such an amazing host! We can't wait to come back and stay again soon!

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

Highly recommend Otto & Shirley. Wonderful and friendly people that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The accommodation is awesome, private and well looked after. If you are looking for a secluded place to stay while visiting beautiful Toti then look no further then Sea-esta 😃

Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Ridgetop Cottage was exactly what we needed for short stay. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Fallon was very helpful throughout and we were very grateful that she even let us stay with a stray kitten that we had picked up a few days previously.

Such a great place. Felt right at home the minute we walked in. It felt like a piece of the bush right near the beach and Kyne was incredibly helpful too. Booked the space to be near the start line of Comrades. But it offered so much more. Located very close to Umhlanga and the St Lucia mall but also a very short walk to the beach. There was a group of us staying and the space allowed us to have good communal space but also some privacy still. Only positive things to stay and will definitely be looking to stay again.

It was a beautiful weekend.

Niqui's place is very clean and has all the basics. However I didn't quite see on the picture how low the roof in the bedroom is. Also if you need to get up at night the bathroom is down the stairs. The cupboard was so low my shirts could not hang straight. The place is in need of some maintenance, but she is clearly making sure it is sparkling clean. Access is easy and the place mostly suited my needs

Michelle, Nombuso and Tristan were all very friendly, communicative and welcoming, as were Sabre and Leia! The location is lovely and the apartment very comfortable. Two things worth mentioning: 1. If you happen to hear a sound like a walrus giving birth, it's almost certainly Sabre giving himself a back rub against the branches of a large shrub. He's found a branch at exactly the right level, and will give vent to his joy when he gets just the right spot. 2. I didn't raise this with Michelle as there is really nothing she could do about it, but for future guests I think it'd be as well to be aware that the driveway is pretty steep and you have to reverse in as there isn't space to turn around. If, like me, you're in a hired car which you may not be entirely familiar with, it can be challenging. I'd still go back.

We had an amazing stay here! The host was very hospitable. They were incredibly helpful and make our stay very comfortable. It was in a perfect area close to the beach and the oceans mall! Will definitely be back!
