Family-friendly vacation rentals in Heuvelland

We spent a weekend with a group of 8 adults and 7 children. We found a beautiful, clean, welcoming, warm home with a beautiful garden in which the children had fun playing. It has everything you need for toddlers with high chairs and baby cribs. The hot tub was very much appreciated by everyone :) There are clear instructions throughout the house. In short, a great 2-day stay. Too bad we only stayed one weekend!

A wonderful place to work and stay

The apartment - in our case for six people - really keeps what it promises. The two-story apartment at the top of the house offers plenty of space, a large dining room, living room, three bedrooms and three balconies. Everyone will find a place if they want it to be quiet. Large windows that go out to the beach and walk only a few minutes to the beach promenade of Ostend: you are literally removed from the hustle of everyday life and look at the wide world from above (elevator available!). We felt right at home. The apartment is also well-equipped and our hosts have given us many beautiful excursion destinations in the area. A really great vacation for us.

Our dogs were really welcome, small courtyard well closed for them. Good time in the real countryside and 35mn from the sea. Everything about it is excellent Thanks for the great time.

I organized my birthday weekend at Amaury's. There were 20 of us and we spent 3 days doing a multitude of activities. Ping Pong, Billiards, dart, pétanque, jacuzzi etc... no time to get bored! Plus, the many beds and bathrooms allow everyone to have comfort and privacy throughout the stay. Recommended!

We were welcomed and the listing is as described. It's just missing a photo, or you can see the pool in front of the owners' terrace. For the rest, the small living room of the accommodation is well separated, as well as the outdoor area with hot tub and dining table. The interior was clean and well-equipped. I recommend it. Excellent stay in Dominique and Alain's very charming place. Everything is tastefully decorated. A small haven of peace! An exceptional environment in a beautiful setting! No noise except birdsong! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back to enjoy the beautiful hikes that the area offers!

Very nice, quietly located house (I have rarely heard the church bells); you can walk immediately into the fields, is well connected, and right next door is a good resto. By bike, you can reach the sea in 20 minutes - with a great beach! I was right at home and slept very well. Pas is super helpful and responds immediately if there is a problem. If necessary, there is even a mobile fence so that the dog can get out (if he is not too wild). The only thing I missed sun worshippers in April was a protected, sunny place outside - the windows go west, the terrace is on the north side. Optimal in summer. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic location, peaceful, relaxing, easy travel to Lille (bus and tram), family friendly and accessible. Really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find and super clean when we arrived. Nice touch with a few basics and well stocked on everything else. One spot to improve is the bed at the top of the stairs on the 3rd floor was loud and not super comfortable. The next night we moved to the other room on the 3rd floor and it was great. All others enjoyed their beds. Shower was great. We would return.

A lovely stay at Lorette's home. The kids loved the garden and table tennis, and the TV room. The house was very comfortable, with lots of style and charm. Some quirky elements like the only bathroom is a downstairs shower, but we didn't mind :) and watch out for some low ceilings! ;) It was a very nice place to stay and Alice was charming when greeting us on arrival.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Boeren Biezen! The cottage has everything you need to cook, good beds and a nice sitting area. Margareth and Freddy are incredibly hospitable and do everything they can to give you a nice time. We ate paella together, bake pizza and cared for the horses. You don't have to go far for fun trips to Sluis, Groede or Het Zwin. Super!

What a fantastic experience! Our stay at this Airbnb was really great. The cottage was very clean, taken care of to the last detail – you immediately felt that they work here with love. The location is wonderfully quiet, ideal for completely relaxing after a day out. Nevertheless, everything you want to see or do is close by: sights, cozy restaurants are all easily accessible. The friendly operator also deserves a special mention – super hospitable you immediately feel welcome. In short, highly recommended.

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

we had a fantastic long weekend in Florence's property. it was ideally situated to explore the local area , we visited Vimy Ridge and experienced the Canadian War memorial and visitor centre. We'll certainly look to use the property again should we decide to vacation in the area again. A top notch property and well worth considering if your looking to stay near Arras

Really lovely accommodation in a beautiful location. We had a great weekend here. The house is even better than the photos, very well-equipped and has a nice porch which is perfect for spending an evening enjoying the view. The pool was a nice bonus as the sun was out. A big plus for us was how dog friendly this place is, there are lots of nice walks in the area and our two dogs were made very welcome. There is a lovely friendly collie dog at the property who came to sit on the porch with us. Ronse is less than ten minutes away in the car and has plenty of bars, restaurants and grocery shops. Would highly recommend and will definitely return 👍

Audrey was an impeccable host, full of kindness and always attentive, even asking us if we still had suggestions for improvement for a place that could no longer necessarily be. Very nice house, very well equipped, very nice pool, spacious rooms and very high quality bedding. Definitely recommend.

Honestly, no complaints. We were very well hosted , the accommodation is clean, well arranged and very well equipped. When you have a question, we'll answer you within 5 minutes. The pool is beautiful, very hot, very clean and very large , my 4 year old daughter loved it. There are even children's games outdoors. It's really great for a family vacation. We were able to go to the sea because the weather was nice ( 50 min drive ) and the northern beaches are beautiful. The people who hold the cottage are adorable and fold in 4 to make you feel good. I recommend 1000%

We have a wonderful stay behind the back in Martine's home. Everything was super clear to welcome. The large spacious kitchen and the extra fridge made sure we had enough space to tidy everything up nicely. It really felt like a home. All the amenities for the kids are great, from games to dining chair and plates. Really great! Highly recommended! We are already looking into our agendas for a next date for staying in this cottage! An extra plus, you can go to the restaurant for breakfast, very easy the last day of our stay!
