Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Herrington Lake

This is what Airbnbs used to be like before they were bought out by corporations. Excellent location, spacious and comfortable home, and a great host.

Huge house with great view of the lake. Very open and modern. Kitchen is pretty tiny, though. Especially if you are trying to feed a group. The large refrigerators in the garage are very helpful. And be careful on the tiny roads leading to the house!

We had a great time getting away for a weekend and if you are looking for a central location that doesn’t take forever to go on the bourbon trail, I recommend the Luxe!

This house is perfect if you want quaint, cozy, peaceful and private! 🏡☮️ Much better AND less expensive than a hotel! 👎🏢 Plenty of shopping & restaurants close by. 🛍🌮 Couple of things we personally loved: large hot water tank🛀, record player with great classic albums 🎶, kitchen and zen artwork 🖼 and heating/cooling system 🔥❄️. When we come back to Lexington, we'll only stay here! Huge thanks to TyNRoxasana!! 🙏

We enjoyed and appreciated our stay at Alison‘s cottage. We arrived late on a chilly winter’s eve and found the exterior lights on and the interior already warmed up and super cozy. We were immediately charmed by all the nice touches and the interesting layout of this quaint and rustic heritage cottage. Every room is quite spacious. The kitchen is fully functional with nice cookery and full-sized appliances so we were able to make a surprise potluck dish for a family event we were attending nearby. The bathtub was absolutely wonderful! Our dogs were so happy they seemed to hope we had moved! The cottage is set back off the road and adjacent to a historic property that has a golf course and a restaurant with a bourbon bar, and a museum of farming equipment. The neighbors and their two dogs were really nice. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area.

This home was an awesome find for a great price. It accommodated our party of six people perfectly and had the bonus bed in the basement as well. It accommodated all our kitchen needs and then some. I would definitely stay at this Airbnb again, as the location was Perfect for visiting the UK campus and dining and shopping in Chevy Chase.

Our stay here was perfect. I can’t wait to rent here again in the summer to be able to use the hammock and fire pit. (Unfortunately we stayed on a rainy night.) Very cute and clean.

Already booking again! This place is absolutely stunning and conveniently located near Danville and Lexington which is perfect for us visiting family and finding things to do. The furnishings are very nice and construction is new. There are large TVs everywhere even outside with the hot tub! They also grant access to the garage which was a huge plus during a really cold December trip. It's on a main road with lots of vehicle/farm/dog/train noises but the area is very remote. Obviously would not prevent us from booking again. Wonderful hosts and property overall!

I thought the space was unique and we were comfortable once we got settled in. I liked the quiet neighborhood and we were pretty close to a variety of restaurants.

Beautiful apartment! Feels just like home.

The place was really cozy, I felt right at home. I loved the little details they put into the home especially in the entry way that made us feel welcome. Maybe another heater, it was a bit cold when we stayed but everything went smoothly.

We were in town to visit our daughters who attend the University of Kentucky. Peter’s place was perfect. Lots of space, beds were really comfortable & within walking distance of the campus & all of the great downtown restaurants. Will definitely stay again when we come back into town!

This little gem of a Airbnb that Brandi offers in the heart of Versailles is just lovely and cozy. The apartment was in a great location, provides a great yard for pups to run around, and a good sized kitchen to utilize for cooking. I definitely look forward to utilizing this Airbnb in the future for trips back home!

This is a lovely little place close to downtown. Even though it’s in a multi-use area, you feel at home and enjoy plenty of privacy. Breakfast is a short 2 block walk and most events and venues are within 10-12 minutes. Lester was very responsive and helpful. The AC and heating system maintain a steady temp without overshooting their set point. It was a very pleasant experience and we would stay again if in the area.

Charming space with lots of fun places (Native Cafe, Woodland Park, Chocolate Holler, and many others) a short walk away.

We stayed in the Four Roses Suit and it was wonderful. This was during the snow and it felt really cozy and was had a great HVAC system heated up fast and stayed warm all night easily. Walking distance to Vallozzi’s which is excellent, and the coffee shop on the corner is really great too. Host were responsive and good to deal with. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our brief time in this beautifully restored apartment and would gladly stay again. The owners have done a fantastic job maintaining the historic feel of the building while also ensuring all modern conveniences. The location in the middle of the beautiful Kentucky horse country is also terrific. Thank you for a very nice stay.

This is a great place in a great location. Street parking is easy and right in front of the house, the place was clean and well appointed and having an easy walk to downtown was a plus ! We would definitely book again, choose Wesley’s place with confidence.

Perfect location for attending an event at Rupp Arena. The building was secure and the place was very clean and comfortable furnishings. Host was quick to respond and went out of his way to address an issue for us. Will definitely stay again, great experience!
