For one night it is a very nice stay. The place was clean and located on a quiet holiday park. The beds are well laid out. There are also plenty of possibilities for hiking with the dog. The only disadvantage we found was the duration of the hot water. This is insufficient to shower with two people in a row. For 1 night this was fine, but when you stay longer it is a tip to provide longer hot water.

Agnethe is a friendly and reliable landlady. She offers a nice house in a great location for a good price. We enjoyed the time in their bungalow very much and spent many cozy evenings in front of the fireplace. The most beautiful was the view of the fjord and the lighthouse in a very special natural setting. Thanks Agnethe!

It is a lovely and cozy house in a peaceful location surrounded by nature, that helped us to totally get disconnected from our busy routines. The house had everything that we wanted, it was easy to communicate with Torben and he is friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this place…

Anno 1871 is a stunning property that feels frozen in time—until you step inside and find a beautifully modernized interior finished to the highest standard. Despite the updates, it retains its charm and character. Nestled in the countryside, it offers peace while being just a six-minute drive to the nearest shop and an excellent base for exploring Denmark—45 minutes to Lalandia and an hour to Billund. The nearby beach is breathtaking. The wilderness bath is a must. Tucked away in the courtyard, it is perfect for unwinding. Host Stefan went above and beyond, even preheating it before our arrival. A minor heating issue was resolved instantly, and he generously offered unlimited logs. Though near working farms, don’t let that put you off—this place is a hidden gem. If you seek tranquillity with modern comforts, I highly recommend Anno 1871. We will definitely return!
