Vacation home rentals in Hebrides

A delightful and charming one bedroom cottage, beautifully decorated andlocated in the heart of Helmsley, minutes from the main square. Louise and her partner were the perfect hosts being both friendly and attentive to our needs. The cottage is attached to the main house and the garden shared with the owners but this was not a problem for us. The kitchenette contains a kettle, toaster and small oven/grill (not really big enough for cooking a main meal - but Louise said she would happily put something in her oven if needed). We would definitely stay again.

Sara and Chris are great hosts. The house was perfect for our family of 9 which included 3 of our grandchildren. The house was so homely and had all the facilities needed for living for the week’s stay. It was ideally situated with wonderful views. We managed to take some lovely walks along the coast and our son and daughter-in-law were able to find great routes to run too. Love to return again one day.

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

we had a beautiful stay. we loved the accommodation, everything you needed for a week's holiday. our car broke down at the start of the week, but still managed to enjoy several walks in the immediate area, down to Loch Garten, and on the Spey Way. we also used the busses togl get a little further out. we'd like to visit again one day. thank you Sylvia :)

Lovely spacious home in a great location. Plenty of walks from the door and only 10 min walk down to the beach. Really good log burner which was welcome on the chilly evenings! Lobster Pot restaurant nearby is great for a meal

The property surpassed my expectations, it really felt like a home from home. It was the little things, like having a hairdryer, shower gel and hand soap. Being able to grab more towels and toilet roll when needed. The local shop was bigger than I expected, and there’s a clothing department which came in handy when we’d forgotten to pack something. The location was excellent for what I needed - visiting friends who live nearby and taking the train into Edinburgh to explore. James was excellent at communicating with me, and there was a handbook on how to use everything and what the expectations were. The beds were comfy (apart from one which unfortunately I chose to sleep in until check out day when I realised the other beds were so much softer!) and the bedding was clean. There was plenty of storage space in the wardrobes and drawers. The toilet was clean and the shower was warm with good water pressure. We had a lovely stay and I hope we were good first time guests.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our little break away. We all loved the surrounding, so beautiful and picturesque. Had a walk around the gardens to meet the chickens, geese, peacocks and saw the horses, cows and sheep on our walk. Deer was also visible across from the farm in the open part of the forest. The house itself has everything you need and is spacious and comfortable. After busy days of visiting tourist attractions (lots of castles) we enjoyed relaxing in the living room with the log burner fire on and we played games with the kids. Games are provided and we also brought our own favourites, which was great for the rainy evenings. Getting there was easy following sat nav and was well signed the closer you got there. Rebecca was friendly and quick to respond, an excellent host and everyone that we met on the farm was so friendly. Checking in and out was a breeze as well. Would absolutely recommend for long and short stays and we hope to visit again.

It was the first time we booked a caravan, and we felt right at home. It was clean, family friendly, with all accessories including smart TV and free wi-fi as per description. We would highly recommend for friends and family, and would strongly consider coming back in better weather. Thank you Jane!

This is one of the many times we have stayed with Noel. We have family in Donegal and we always stay at this amazing place. Spotless and tranquil, perfect for a peaceful get away only 5 min from Donegal town by car. This is our home away from home place. 🙏

Lisa’s place was great for our group of 4 adults (1 couple & 2 singles). We walked to town and got a taxi back (as it’s uphill coming back). We enjoyed the town, the pubs and trad Irish music. Lisa was very helpful from booking to check out. Everything was as described and we had no problems during our stay. We felt right at home upon arrival and would stay here again.

Anita is a great host! Responsive and so helpful! We had a lovely stay and there is so much to do just short drives from the caravan! The caravan itself is so spacious, clean and you feel so at home the moment you step inside. It was lovely and quiet on the park too :) overall a great stay we would love to return!

Just wow!! What an amazing place to stay - spotlessly clean, well equipped and just as described. Karen and Mark were amazing hosts, with a lovely welcome basket of goodies, home baked cakes and milk in the fridge. We went lovely walks from our doorstep and a great circular bike ride too. Karen and Mark were on hand to answer any questions and even offered to run us into Beetham where we had dinner booked. Couldn’t rate them any higher! Thank you for our wonderful weekend.

Beautiful lodge overlooking the lake, amazing views of the countryside with some lovely walks straight from the lodge. The lodge has been thoughtfully stocked with spare razors, toothbrushes, face packs and lots of other thoughtful items you may have forgotten to bring. We stayed over Easter and the lodge was decorated with rabbits and chick ornaments with Easter eggs on every bed . Very thoughtful and responsive host of a beautiful lodge in a stunning location.

We had wonderful time at Morag's cottage. it was pure pleasure to stay there. eveyrthing was as described and hope we can visit the place again in the future.

The White House is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in Ireland. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had pleasant day. The house was pre heated before our arrival which is highly appreciated. The main highlight was the game room where they had plenty of board games to have a good social time. Strawberry fields is a beautiful homely lodge, its located really close to the crazy horse bar, which we ordered a takeout from. The lodge itself is immaculate, it gad everything we needed, cooking utensils, towels bedding, toilet roll and shower gel. The hot tub is great, we were able to hang our wet clothes on an airer and there's a washing machine if you need it. The park itself is spotless and so peaceful, the lodge is not overlooked at all. Our dogs could walk freely around the lodge without escaping. Alan is a great host, he left clear instructions on how to get in, and kept in touch throughout to make sure everything was ok, all in all a fantastic little break away with our 2 dogs, we would highly recommend strawberry fields and we will be rebooking. Blyth beach is around 35 mins away by car, Alnwick is around the same distance Perfect location, perfect break away

Our family absolutely loved Katy’s apartment in St Andrews. We could not have asked for a better location! The home was bright, clean and comfortable, and the hot tub and yard were an added bonus! Super peaceful in the evenings yet right in the center of everything you could want to do in St Andrews. Communication was excellent both before and during our stay. We would absolutely recommend this home and hope to return! Thank you Katy for sharing this amazing space with us.

Amazing little place, in an extremely beautiful part of the world! The place is great for a stopover in Glencoe area! We were very lucky to see deer right out of our window!

Stayed here as attending the Blues Festival, Hazel’s place was good as it was on the edge of Stromness so quiet and peaceful but an easy walk into Town. Everything we needed was catered for, made use of washing machine and tumble dryer for our swimming gear. Would recommend, Hazel was friendly and helpful.

Gerald’s house is exceptional, it exceeded our expectations. Perfect for a family time away. Spacious rooms, an amazing kitchen equipped with everything needed for a break away and views to die for. Also, every room was immaculate! Gerald is an extremely attentive host, the welcome basket was a lovely and much appreciated surprise! Also letting us check in early and check out a bit later was great! Thank you so much Gerald, we absolutely loved our stay and we hope we can come back in the future.

Absolutely lovely stay for the weekend. some of us Donegal first timers and others having been here many times before really enjoyed the location, the cosy living rooms and it made a perfect base for exploring more of the coast. Very toddler friendly. Owen was a really responsive host who was exceptionally accommodating! would recommend!
