Lovely break with parents and our son, 30 mins to York main town, we got a little lost on how to find the main door but the host quickly showed us it’s just to the back of the main house through the main garden area.

Lovely, cosy and spacious chalet for a weekend away. All the amenities you could need to stay for a week or more. Fiona was a great host with clear instructions and quick responses to any messages. Would love to stay again :)

Lovely and peaceful

Jay’s place is very accommodating, sadly we had a flighting visit, we wish we could have stayed longer. Jay was a great host and greeted us very warmly when we arrived, he is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some helpful advice to make the most of our very short stay. We had a truly wonderful stay at Pebbles Beach in Sligo! The location is absolutely stunning—right along the Wild Atlantic Way, offering breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Irish coast. David was an exceptional host—very welcoming and helpful. Upon our arrival, he took the time to walk us through the area and gave great recommendations on what to explore nearby, which really enhanced our experience. The property itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. We had a very pleasant and memorable stay, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

This location knocked it out of the ballpark! Pristine, beautiful, spotless and great hosts with lots of recommendations...we loved our stay here and will be back. It was so lovely, we didn't want to leave! But it is a great location for exploring and going into Dublin and then returning to a peaceful and serene home base. Perfect! The Wee Glasshouse is the place to stay if you want a beautiful scenery, a good location and most importantly, a super well-equipped accommodation. So much so that you’ll be tempted to just stay home and forget about Edinburgh on the rainy days. Alan has also been an amazing host and we felt right at home from the start, he’s a professional! He has obviously spent a lot of time & effort in making everything easy for guests and I’m appreciative of the lengths he had went. This is truly a rare find and it’s a shame we only had 2 nights, we would’ve loved to stay a lot longer!

Maddy was so welcoming and lovely! She made sure I knew where everything was, how things worked and that I had everything I needed. The chalet was immaculately kept and very comfortable. Beautiful location not too far out of town with amazing views and so quiet and peaceful. Throughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend, the place is perfect!

Great stay for relaxing in your holiday, but also for many trips to other places. Beautiful and clean Lodge.

Lovely private situation good parking, can get long wheelbase VW camper van in. Good access to places of interest nearby like The Parys Mountain copper mine. Good host very quick and thorough with all communication. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Our second stay here, and definitely not the last! This is such a peaceful place to stay with some amazing walks right on the doorstep.

My mum and I really enjoyed our stay. Helen was the perfect host and extremely responsive to our needs. She even went above and beyond by sourcing someone to help us when we had car problems! Parking was right beside the loft, which made entry/exit very easy. The loft was extremely comfortable and looked exactly like the photos. It was quiet and very relaxing. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

We had an amazing stay, the grounds are extraordinary!! Hot tub was great and completely private, lovely walks through the forest behind. Beautiful at night time there are little lights all round the trees. We will definitely book again it had everything we needed.

Geraldine and Derek are the perfect hosts. Totally felt at home on arrival and the lovely touch of fresh milk, bread,eggs and bread was a lovely welcoming touch. Highly recommend Geraldines reflexology amd back massage including cupping. Just put us into relaxation mode straight away. Sarahs cottage was perfect and our 2 little dogs loved running around the garden. Gear location for trabelling to various tourist attractions. Need to go back to see more as 2 days was not enough. You will not be disappointing if you want tranquility and relaxation

My wife and I stopped here for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were provided clear instructions and were pleased to see the place was spotlessly clean. The amenities were excellent which included washing up needs, Dyson airfan, coffee machine, slippers, dressing gown and a brilliant tv/sound system. The hosts made us feel like home and Fiona gave us some great recommendations in the area. We were even assisted with a lift to the nearest town when we struggled with taxis. I’d recommend anyone staying here to book taxis in advance. We were greeted each morning by a warm welcome from Blue, the friendly black Labrador who is not shy to sit and watch telly with you! 🐶 What a perfect place with friendly hosts and a lovely dog. We’d love to come back in the future. Thank you!

I booked this accommodation for a newlywed couple, and they absolutely loved it! From the start, Louise was an incredible host—her communication was excellent throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the thoughtful surprise she left for the couple—it completely made their day and added such a personal, memorable touch to their stay. The place itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxed vibe that's just perfect for a city break. Would 100% recommend staying here. We had a wonderful stay at Roger’s cottage. Absolutely met our expectations. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and relaxing. A+

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time at John's place. We wish we could have stayed longer. One of the few Airbnbs which is so much nicer in real life than on the pictures. Pictures cannot capture this tranquil place. Peaceful, idyllic place and grounds. The paths were lovely with bluebells and it felt like a little adventure hiking around the grounds. The sheep with their lambs were lovely to see through the bedroom window every morning. Tom the resident cat (outside) was a sweet addition to our stay. Always friendly and greeting us for cuddles many times throughout the day. Can really recommend for a family stay and for people who want a peaceful and quiet time in the countryside with lovely walks and beautiful views. Hope we'll be able to make it back in the future. We loved it.

A lovely little cottage had everything you needed for a short stay and in a great spot in walking distance of everything around Windermere and boweness. Would 100% stay again in the near future.

What a lovely hidden gem, spotlessly clean & very spacious. Had milk in the fridge, tea, coffee & breakfast cereal available. Which was a nice surprise. Tayto & popcorn on the table. Fully equipped with all the necessities, washing machine, dryer & dishwasher. Very cosy. Will definitely stay again.

A gorgeous place to stay if you like old world charm and character in a peaceful, rural setting. The attention to detail provides for extremely cosy and comfortable accommodation with walks from the doorstep but the convenience of being 5 minutes drive from the lovely town of Moffat. Highly recommend.
