Lakeland Lodge

ReneeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is hands down the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The cabin is gorgeous, but the scenery is breathtaking! Lorcan provided everything we needed to have a wonderful stay on our honeymoon. The cabin was very cozy and included every amenity we needed. It is beautifully decorated and includes little touches that really made us feel right at home. If we could have stayed longer, we would have! We especially loved being able to relax in the hot tub after a long week of travel. We really appreciated the information our hosts provided about the local towns, attractions, and eateries. It was really lovely how the artwork in the cabin reflected the local sites, too. I could not recommend this place enough. It's gorgeous!

What a beautiful little gem! We're still talking about this place and how incredible everything was. The place was unique but also very cosy in the evening with a breath taking view 5 mins away. We brought our 6 year old who said she never wanted to leave. Perfect family getaway and Charlotte is the loveliest lady.

Well positioned for visiting Northumberland and Scottish border towns. Wonderful dog friendly beaches. Definitely on our list to return. Kevin, Anne and Stanley.

The Woodhouse (Cabin No.8) Available 365 days/year

YvonneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Beautiful lodge/cabin and exceptionally clean too. It really is a home from home because there is absolutely everything you need and more. I was worried that due to the structure that it might be cold, but no, it was toasty and warm and the double bed and bedding was so comfy and cosy that I wanted to put it in my car and bring it home with me! Gareth and Kate had left a dog bowl with some biscuits and another bowl out on the decking filled with toys for the dog to play with. That was incredibly kind and very thoughtful of them, it was also much appreciated by Hector the Schnoodle. Foodwise, we had a delicious take-away for the Indian restaurant in Moffat and they even delivered to the Reception area of the park which is a 2 minute walk away. All in all, would I return? Yes, without a doubt and I don't say that about many places. Definitely book to stay, you'll love the peace and quiet, the beautiful tree right outside, the lake and the bazillion cute bunnies hopping around.

Cosy Burn Side Cabin - Loch Awe

WillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful easter trip at Hazel’s cabin with my partner, brother, his little boy and our dogs. The cabin was exactly as described – with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hazel made it easy to find with the directions, and was really helpful with her messages – offering suggestions on places to see, eat etc. and responding quickly to any queries. During our stay we did an easter egg hunt in the beautiful outside space, hung out by the brook and played/relaxed there, took a walk down to the loch front following the tracks through the forest, visited Oban, and enjoyed chilled evenings by the fire. We also got some cook-at-home curry from Black Rock curries round the corner, which was delicious and highly recommended! Thank you for a really enjoyable and memorable stay, we just wished we had a bit longer!

Romantic Retreat Cabin, exclusive hot tub & sauna

Great place to stay with lots of space. Hot tub and sauna were great and the added cinema room was a nice extra. Location was good but shame there was not a path so we could walk down to Pitlochry. Ben Vrackie was only a few miles away so we had a hike up and the views did not disappoint. Laura & Jamie were friendly and helpful and showed us how everything worked on arrival.

The cabin was extremely well appointed with lots of extra details that made it feel very homely. So many treats and an extremely comfortable night sleep due to the best mattress topper in the world and a very cozy duvet.
