Family-friendly vacation rentals in Heald Green

We had a lovely stay here the only downside was that we weren’t there longer! Great place to be away from reality but not miles away from Home for us. The extra little touches were perfect with robes/slippers/bits for breakfast/ inflatable umbrella hats for the hot-tub and the best fresh eggs 😍 Enough in the local village to choose from for food and a welcoming wine bar only 10 minutes walk. 10/10 will definitely be back.

We had a great stay, a group of friends and a dog. We used it as a base for some nice walks around the Peak District, like Mam Tor. The hob tub was a welcome treat. I can’t think of anything that the host hadn’t already thought of. The under floor heating felt very luxurious. The kitchen was well equipped. I wish we would have brought ground coffee to use the machine. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night! We didn’t really have to message the host for much but when we did he was very prompt in his reply. All in all it was a great place to stay and felt good value for money. Would definitely return!

Super friendly host and the most caring person i have ever encountered. The room was above expectations amd everything from checkin to going home was so smooth and effortless. We will absolutely come back in the future and can highly recommend both the host and the room.

Exactly what I was looking for- peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The accommodation is a lovely space with everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in the barn. The barn was as described and was well equipped. The hamper was much appreciated after a long journey from Kent. It isn’t obviously located from Apple Maps, but the directions were excellent and so we didn’t get lost. Whilst it is located near a busy road it faces out on to fields with horses and ducks etc so it gives the feeling of being in the countryside despite being so close to the M1. Yorkshire Sculpture Park is 10 minutes down the road and Cannon Hall Farm a similar distance away.. The underfloor heating was a little too efficient….so don’t crank the thermostat up as the house doesn’t need it. Once we’d got used to that we had a very comfortable stay. We thoroughly recommend the fish and chip shop in Darton.

Lovely shepherds hut. Enjoyed the view and rural feel of the farm. We did a lovely walk to Musbury heights and into Helmshore for lunch. The location is amazing as it feels rural but very close to towns and food! Hot tub was gorgeous

This is a brilliant cottage - it's deceptively big, and very well appointed with excellent bedding, fixtures and fittings, as well as being spotless. The area has all you need for pubs and cafés, plus great walks, and communication with the hosts is very good and straightforward. In summary: superb.

Amazing stay, I booked for my partners birthday, welcomed by a cake and champagne so very lovely surprise. Accommodation was clean. Quirky interior and amazing views. Hot tub and sauna both great. Very private, very quiet. We had a dog who also loved it! Location good for nearby walks, we drove to Bakewell for shops and pubs. Host very responsive, would highly recommend!
