We had an amazing weekend getaway at this pretty house! The property was peaceful, clean, and just as described, with breathtaking views of the river. We spent our time fishing, kayaking, and even got to drive the boat provided, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. It really made the trip feel special and adventurous. The host was responsive and made everything from check-in to check-out super easy. A perfect spot to relax, explore, and enjoy nature—highly recommended!

Lavender Lane is a quaint old worldly apartment with all modern amenities. Caelia is an excellent host, being prompt in communicating & helpful. The apartment is right in centre of the village of Brooklyn. This makes easy access to the cafes , walks along the waterways and waterside activities . We would recommend a stay at Lavender Lane.

BOOK THE STAY! Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our weekend here. The hosts are responsive and helpful, the short boat transfer from the marina is seamless ( thanks Collin), and the views from the house are unbeatable. The wifi is fast, the smart TV’a were great , the house is well stocked, and you have everything you need to relax. We had an absolutely magical time and though we live out of the country we will make every effort to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The view was absolutely breathtaking, providing a picturesque backdrop that made mornings and evenings extra special. The kitchen was one of the best we’ve seen in an Airbnb—large, spotless, and stocked with an impressive variety of appliances. The pantry was incredibly well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals without worrying about missing essentials. The furniture and layout were thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The TV setup was excellent, and we made the most of it with several cozy movie nights. The sheets were soft and comfortable, ensuring restful sleep, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The only minor challenge was accessing the house, as the steep and uneven climb made carrying luggage a bit tricky. This might be something to consider for older guests or those with mobility concerns. Overall, this Airbnb was fantastic and we'd happily return!
